Qdoba is my favorite chain in its genre. I like the variety they offer, the taste and their rewards program. My favorite is their "Mexican gumbo", which is health-wise between a burrito and a salad, tastes good and is filling. This location is efficient and reasonably clean. I wish they had brewed iced tea. I used to really like Qdoba. It was the first non-Taco Bell-like establishment that served to-go Mexican food, and it's two blocks from where I went to college. Some pros: - It's cheap - They offer rewards - Inside was just redecorated and looks modern That said, I have since tried Chipotle and Moe's, and now Qdoba just seems too bland for me. I'm excited for both of these chains opening in Hoboken in the next few months, and unfortunately have been avoiding Qdoba upon learning this. My favorite burrito place in town. Very generous portions, over a pound of burrito filled with rice, beans, beef and a lot of cheese / toppings. Food is served in reusable metal plates with a paper liner. Free refills on the drinks. They charge extra for Guacamole, but worth every penny. If you're ordering a burrito, get it with Queso sauce. BBQ sauce is very funky. I tried once, not again. Parking is a challenge all the time. Park to the first spot you see and walk whatever blocks. read more

He was very impatient and rude. i would think they should be the opposite since they want a good tip... guess not. the delivery experience is really not the same as eating in though. so... All that really needs to be said in this review can be stated in 3 words: Best. Restaurant. Ever. Seriously, they have amazing food, give you great portions (seemingly larger than most of their chain's and Chipotle counterparts), they take Duckbills (a Hoboken essential), and as an added bonus it's so busy that sometimes they forget when you got Extra Steak. A staple of late night dining in Hoboken, Qdoba serves fast and pretty good Mexican food. It's open till 11 most nights except Fri and Sat (till 3am). For under $8 you can get a very filling burrito and a drink, which isn't too bad. Things to definitely try there are: the chicken quesadillas, pulled pork burrito, and chicken nachos (or steak if you prefer it). Since it's open late on weekends, it can get a bit rowdy/loud with people looking to get a bite after the bars close. I've never seen a fight there though, so you shouldn't feel unsafe. The line can get quite long but it moves fairly quickly. I highly recommend this place as an alternative to McDonald's / any other fast food you may think. read more

I only know of two Qdoba's in my area (this one and one on Rt. 17 south). I've been to both. This one has faster service (this is a faster-paced city). I've had the quesadilla and it's pretty good, but the last few times I've been to Qdoba, I got the queso burrito (I tell them to make it hot AND I add more hot sauce afterwards -- it's so good). This restaurant in Hoboken not only serves you faster, but they actually fill your burrito. The one on Rt. 17 was slow and I felt like I didn't get my money's worth. I was looking at someone else's review and I have to disagree about Chipotle. They just recently opened up a Chipotle here in Secaucus and I had a burrito there and there's no comparison. It was dry, there was more rice than anything in it, and there wasn't a whole lot in there to begin with. In my opinion, Qdoba pwnz Chipotle. This Qdoba just pwnz period. The parking sucks in Hoboken, of course, but if you can deal with having to find a spot, the service at this restaurant makes it worth it. :P read more

Came here for the first time yesterday...my best friend just moved to Hoboken and we stumbled upon it...we knew there was a Chiptole down the street but was feeling a little daring. Obviously not knowing their menu we ended up just going with a burrito bowl..their menus hanging up above where you order could be a little more helpful. I'm usually faithful to the quesadilla and after seeing the woman a few people behind me get one...I was thinking I should have gone that direction but turns out the bowl was good. We wanted to try the guacamole/queso hybrid sauce they have but we didn't know it had a special name...so just got queso and guacamole as separate entities. Everything tasted really fresh and good though. It's probably a good thing I don't live here, all the other restaurants aside, I'd probably put on an extra 20 pounds from this place alone. read more

The staff here is really friendly. The food is always fresh and pretty good, never really have complaints here. I usually get burritos, steak queso, chicken queso, or shredded beef. Never have had bad food here. The only thing is they always ask for black beans and start putting those automatically, even if you want the white beans it's really weird. They say online that dine in is available but when you go in store everything is set up terribly , rude customer service and they let their employees sit inside and eat and hangout no mask on but kick customers out. This is only my second yelp review because I have rarely come into situations where I felt my opinion would be helpful to the yelp community. Today I ate at Qdoba, and was SO disappointed on the amount of guac they gave me. They literally scooped on 1/2 a table spoon, and before the scoop, the staff member scraped most of the guac off into the guac container. She did this twice.. as if to show she was correcting her mistake of accidentally giving too much guacamole to begin with. Honestly I absolutely love Q'Doba....and I order from here A LOT, at least 4 times a week because it's just easy for me when I'm at work. Here and there they mess up my order, it happens....one time my drink spilled out in the bag all over my food and ruined it but I didn't even call. This time they forgot my guac and chips in my order, so I called and they said they'd send the driver back with it. No one ever showed up. I think I'm going to give up on this location for a while and choose another business as my go-to place for food. I know it's just 3$ and only guac and chips...but with the amount of money I spend on food there a week I would have hoped they would have followed through when theh said they'd come back. read more

For a town that has really great local restaurant options, Qdoba still stands out for its quality and consistency. When you're in the mood, it's exactly what you want from a Mexican restaurant - lots of choices, quality ingredients and a selection of salsas. With any Qdoba, of course, you have to be aware of the nutritional content (especially the sodium levels) but the food never disappoints. read more

I love this place and prefer Qdoba to Chipotle any day. I used to work there years ago so I know how it's ran and today I was very disappointed and annoyed by the delivery driver. My total for the order was about $10 and I added an extra $3.00 tip on top of the delivery charge which the drivers do get. The delivery charge does not go to the restaurant. She called when she was downstairs and said that she was the delivery driver so I told her I would buzz her in. She straight out told me no I'm double parked so are you gonna come down of what. Walked downstairs and while the door was open she's just standing there and hands me the food without saying anything. $6 tip for nothing. I wish I could give her a .01 tip for that horrible service. read more

I used to come here all the time when I was younger, and always think of it fondly for having delicious food, big portions, and a fair price. And while this is still the case, I was very turned off by the service during my most recent experience there. I don't know if they were training new employees or what, but to give them the benefit of the doubt, that's what I'll say happened because there is no other excuse for the ineptitude that was displayed. Behind the counter were what appeared to be 2 managers, 2 employees at the food assembly area, and 1 cashier. However, everyone looked like a chicken with their heads cut off. Three people were talking to me at the same time about what I wanted, and it was very confusing trying to answer them all. The manager was also talking to them while I'm talking, making the employees nervous and confused, too. Then suddenly the cashier is handling my food because the other two have already moved on to the other customers instead of finishing up my order. And another manager comes along to bag my food while the cashier is taking my payment. It felt very chaotic and confusing for I don't know what reason. Assembly lines are supposed to make it easier. And when I got home, I was at least relieved that they had only messed it up a little (missing veggies on one of the quesadillas and some missing sauces and guacamole). However, the food tasted good, very filling, and decent prices. At least that much hasn't changed, and is the only reason I didn't give them just 1 or 2 stars.
