I then began to use my typical drywall contractor but decided to contact Heather to see if they do drywall repair and they do. I decided to let that one painter complete the full scope and I really enjoyed the results. The painter Juan was courteous arrived on time across the span of two days to complete the work and did a fantastic job. Needless to say I'm beyond impressive with the results from That one painter and specifically Juan and Heather. I highly recommend this company and will use them again. PS in the final photo the ceiling is still drying so it may look like some discoloring but that is not the case.

And oh my gosh--was he amazing at his job! He went above and beyond what he said he would do, cleaned up after himself, and still came in under his estimate. Van Fossen was friendly, professional and knew his business. He's been doing this for decades and after speaking with him, I can honestly state he has a heart as big as the state of Iowa. However, when the estimator arrived, I asked him to wear a mask inside, as we have an immunocompromised household member. He refused. He said that under no circumstances would he wear a mask. I find that odd for a painter, who might have to use a sprayer in a confined space, but that's just me. At any rate, I thanked him for coming out, and said that we would use someone else. If he is this rigid about a reasonable request, he will not be easy to work with on the job.

All the tile in our bathroom must have been cut with the dullest blade on the planet bc they're all chipped Including the shiplap he cut for the wall. I called him immediately about redoing it, he came and checked it out, didn't want to redo it but instead he said he'd cover up certain parts in the shower and told us we'd need to purchase the tile he would be using to cover it up. On top of that, he knew he'd need to return to install the cabinet once it arrived and install the light above the cabinet. However, since he knew he really didn't want to redo the bathroom tile, he chose to straight up ignore us and therefore the project was never finish. Oh, but wait, there's more..... Because if the terrible welding job, we had to have a plumber come find out why on Gods green earth we had water leaking into our garage ceiling and basement bathroom (which are right under the bathroom they did) and he told us it bc of the shit welding job the contractor did. In order for the plumber to diagnose that problem he had to cut into our wall in the bathroom of course. For the shower area they didn't use any type of waterproofing membrane so it leaked onto our drywall behind it. I shouldn't need to know this bc I chose to pay someone to know it for me. Learned after the fact that he's company had NOT been license bonded and insured since 2013 and also found out that he involuntarily lost the LLC to his business June of 2021. What an actual expensive nightmare this entire experience was and still is.  I've had other people come and give us quotes to redo everything and it's going to cost us more than what we paid them! So that's cool! We can't afford to just have this stuff redone, so we're constantly reminded of the nightmare daily bc we look at it every time we use the bathroom . **So, you get to decide if you'd choose to have them destroy your house too.  Are you gonna take the chance? *
