Doctor Sarah Deeds covered all bases to make sure there wasn't anything further going on, explained what I could do to help my tongue heal, gave me prescriptions in case it came to that, and even gave me a referral to an oral surgeon in case my ulcer wouldn't heal. They even have very small X-ray plates so it's not so painful on their small jaws. The sedation kept him from being traumatized by multiple fillings. We were able to do them all at once and 30 minutes after we left the office he was eating Chikfila and bouncing around as normal. Today we had to go back and have a tooth pulled. My son was hesitant to drink the sedation juice as it does have an odd taste (they try to mask that with syrup but you can only fool a kid once on that). He fussed but the lady helping us told me with complete confidence that he would do better if she took him to the back and she was right. I love that the staff knows children and all their little quirks so well. Very happy with the care they provide.

Retainers should all fit same but in my case they didn't their was a noticeable difference in the shifting of my teeth depending on which retainer I wore. when I brought it to their attention, they said just wear the one I am most comfortable with. 3. I lost my retainers, so I went in to get a replacement. I was told to keep my molds in case of a ai loose them. To my surprise there were two top molds and no bottom. So if I wanted to get a replacement somewhere else, I couldn't. 4. It's been less than a month since I lost them and they are saying I have to get new molds, because they assume my teeth have shifted so much in a couple of weeks that they would not fit smh. I am very disappointed, but I have no choice but to go to them for the replacement. because if I go somewhere else without molds, they charge an arm and a leg SMH. If you choose this place, make sure you check your molds and stand your ground when it comes to your treatment.

I do not like the idea that it is policy to drug the children then they insist on doing the procedure without parental supervision while these poor kids are drugged up. They also suggested putting caps on her baby teeth at the age of four. This has since cause issues with her new teeth coming in, two loose teeth for over a year and a half. When I took her in to get them checked they just told me to have her wiggle and twist them and they would come out on their own. Now this has resulted in her needing to get all four teeth with the caps pulled because they would not come out even though her new teeth were coming in behind them.

I found it to be informative and they contacted me almost immediately after leaving my contact information. My most important requirement was that his office use my insurance coverage, which he does. His office is in a lovely location that is easy access between Memorial Drive and Madison Street in Clarksville. His staff is always friendly and inviting and I rarely have a wait time. My assigned dental hygienist has become a friend and she is very, very thorough and helpful. Their reception and billing staff is always very personable and helpful. They are up on all the current technology and have several work stations for the variety of dental services they provide so you are not left waiting in the lobby for an open chair. Dr. Garrett himself is very friendly and knowledgeable and puts patients right at ease. They are very accommodating for patient's individual needs such as seat positioning during procedures (I cannot tolerate laying flat back) and I understand they can help with those who find dental cleanings and procedures unbearable. I see several happy children whenever I am there so his service is family friendly as well. When I got married, I added my husband on to my dental plan and he was able to get in as a new patient with ease. Dr. Garrett, our hygienist, Cyndi Fyke, and the staff was so very helpful during my husband's cancer treatment and became a part of his pre-radiation/chemo treatment and his ongoing care plan. Their assistance in his treatment plan truly helped in his long term recovery. As with all patients, they are diligent in their observations and recommendations for oral care and hygiene practice and do not try to get you to do unnecessary procedures and replace previous dental work unless it is medically necessary. Lets start with my…read moreteeth; for most of my life my teeth were crooked as hell, and having less then wealthy parents I didn't get braces until recently as an adult. Went through 2 years of mild torture to finally have them off, and have a normal adult mouth of teeth. Although I had success with my braces an unforeseen complication had arose, I never learned to brush straight teeth before, thus leading to a poor at home preventative practice. My teeth cleanings at my previous dentist took a turn for the worst as super painful, and unfinished work came from my appointments. Getting desperate to have a full, and useful appointment I found Clarksville smiles with their Sedation Therapy. Together with local numbing, and nitrous oxide I was finally able to have a pain-free, Completely Thorough, full cleaning, and testing done. Does it cost more for these "extra" services? Yes. Was it worth it to pay? Overwhelmingly yes. Without the local numbing and NO2 I would probably have not been able to get a full treatment, and would have considered not returning to a dentist. The staff had previously told us that our insurance would cover 80% of the payment, leaving us with a 20% copay. Surprisingly, when we spoke with our insurance company, they informed us that they had billed them $400, and we were required to pay $300 upfront on the day of my son's appointment. Ridiculous! It seems that this clinic prioritizes money and numbers over providing accurate information. Be careful and do not believe whatever they say! Make sure to call your insurance to make sure they have a network.

Because of major health issues, including several brain surgeries and brain radiation, I hadn't been allowed to get dental work for a period of time. I was deeply insecure and embarrassed to even let anyone see my smile. The front desk staff, Annalise and Tess, went above and beyond for me. They spent a lot of time fighting to get my state insurance to accept my procedures, taking an immense amount of stress off my shoulders. In the back, the clinical care was just as amazing. My hygienist, Ms. Dee, was exceptionally gentle and thorough. The dental assistants--Alexis, Dejanira, and Emily--went completely out of their way to ensure I was comfortable, safe, and entirely non-judged. Patients should not have to repeatedly contact the office to ensure appointments are scheduled, treatment plans are addressed, and necessary follow-ups are completed. These responsibilities should be handled proactively by the office, rather than leaving patients to manage the process themselves. Additionally, the office's cancellation policy is concerning. Even when an unexpected emergency requires a same-day cancellation, substantial fees may be charged without clear communication beforehand. Receiving a random text message and a bill for a fee that was not adequately explained is frustrating and reflects poorly on the office's transparency and customer service. While I appreciate the dentist's professionalism and thoroughness, communication, accountability, and patient relations are equally important aspects of quality dental care. Unfortunately, these areas have been consistently disappointing. I hope the office takes this feedback seriously and makes meaningful improvements to its communication practices, follow-up procedures, and fee transparency.
