After not having nails on for 5 months I took the plunge and put them back on. I called and made an appointment. I arrived a bit early and the place was busy. I was greeted right away and taken only 5 minutes past my appt time. The staff was very friendly and did a great job. The pricing is in line with other salons in the area. Ample parking is available. They had a wide range of polish colors in standard and in shellac. I will definitely go back for my fill and will do a pedicure as well. They would have been 5 star but a personal pet peeve is when the same technician doesn't do the nails from start to finish. This may have been "not the norm" due to the busyness. read more

Applied one coat of polish to my toes. No massage or scrub. Literally a ten minute service. Got dip on my nails. Didn't cut my cuticles. Woman doing my nails was rude. Toes chipped one day later. Literally awful. Made my cuticles bleed. My nails were crooked even after I politely asked for them to be fixed. They had a woman who has NEVER done acrylics (I have been going there for years and the owner has always said "she does not do acrylics") the acrylic is extremely thick and not attached to my nail. I had to ask for another layer of polish. She rubbed lotion into my hand that was covered in nail dust. Awful awful experience, will never be going back. read more

Never have dealt with a place like this. Didn't cut my cuticles didnt cut my actual nails. Applies the gel not even all the way down. I asked for a coffin not a coffin nail. Worst experience ever. Absolutely filthy. They didn't clean chairs, but worse yet was that they didn't clean tools and reused the foam flip flops and toe separators! The owners were very unprofessional, yelled at us for taking too long to pick colors, yelled at my niece because they thought she was someone else that didn't like the salon. They were so rude to my niece that she started crying, then they told her to go. They told her mother to go, but we were in the middle of half assed mani/pedis so we stayed. The pedi chairs were filthy, cold then scalding hot water. They slapped a hot towel on my legs after they burned my feet. My sister had gel polish, sloppily painted on and never set. I wouldn't wish this type of service on my worst enemy, but the part that bothered me the most was that they had their little girl spraying the aerosol spray on our nails at the end. Absolutely awful customer service. Upon arriving at the building I planned on receiving the best pedicure package they offered. Once checked in myself and my sister were told to choose a nail color per usual. After we found our place in the pedicure chair the employee that approached me was careless, rude, and non attentive. When I realized the service I would receive would be less than par I decided to just get an average pedicure. This instantly irritated the employee and he rushed a 25 minute service into 10 minutes even though their service log specifically states that a #1 average pedicure will last 25 minutes. My toe nails were cut extremely short even though I asked for him not to, my ring toe is so short it barely held polish. The employees he spoke with rolled their eyes & stared at me without consideration. Will not ever recommend this business to even my most disliked associate. At the end of the pedicure a second employee had to assist with shoes and drying my nails because the first did not even put me under a fan nor give me the styrofoam sandals to wear. I have walked in many times without an appointment and the staff are always willing to get me in as soon as possible! I haven't been there in almost a year and when I walked in the workers immediately remembered me and asked questions about my family. I let the staff take complete charge of what I was getting for an acrylic manicure and a pedicure, and I was not disappointed in their choices! I go here once a month for my fills. I have also had pedicures. I absolutely love my time there. Staff is very friendly and treat you like family. I encourage all my friends to go to Q Nails. I have been to other nail care spots in Wisconsin Rapids. I do not feel as welcome as I do at this establishment. I noticed a post from 2 years ago had the same problem I had a week ago. I went in for UV gel fills and as he started using a powder I remind him and he told me it's okay don't worry about it. After moving on to get my nails painted and then a ridiculous sprayed on stencil I came home and did some research and discovered that UV nails are not applied with any kind of powder! They have to be cured with a UV light! So I called and told them how they did me wrong and that I wanted my money back the husband said ok and hung up on me! I stopped in the store yesterday and after explaining to the husband and him arguing with me, and then the wife stepping in and spouting off, the husband decided to call the police on me!? Consequently that did nothing for him because the police arrived and informed him they could do nothing and informed me I would have to sue them in small claims court to receive my refund. These people are crooks they lie and cheat and charge for gel nails when applying acrylics! I have also learned that they reuse the wax from their pedicures!
