I also had the strawberry tart which was freshly made with light cream and fresh strawberries. Not too sweet or overwhelming. Only 1,85 euro!! The tart was also light and crunchy like a cookie. It was more like a shortbread cookie than a tart but I much prefer it that way. The gentleman there doesn't speak much English but can understand. There is also a sandwich bar where locals were lining up around noon time. I love the pastries there and the staff even if I've only been there once.. would definitely visit again!!! Everyone was leaving with multiple baguettes and now we know why. It was crisp on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Everything you dream about baguette to be. We were so happy we stopped by.

There's an option to pick a box or tin and fill it the cookies of your choice. The waffles themselves are something I can make at home and save the €15. I ordered the basic powdered sugar waffle, liege style. My husband ordered the Belgian style waffle which was topped with macerated strawberries and a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Again, the waffle and strawberries weren't warm so it was like eating a dry stale cold waffle with cold strawberries and a scoop of ice cream. Disappointing to say the least. I'd pass on this place and stick with the street vendors where you can watch them make it in front of your eyes and served warm.
