When the man snatched the parcel from the lady who worked there, I've never felt so awkward didn't know here to look and then he throws the parcel on the counter. He needs to lean some customer service kills and needs to treat his staff members with respect. Felt really sorry for lovely lady who helped me with my parcel.

The post office has friendly staff who are always helpful, at Christmas they always have a bag of sweets for the children. They are one of the bigger post offices in the are so they do sell car tax. They have a cash machine and are always improving the service they offer so you really can get it all done in one go here. I wouldnt go to any other post office in Llanelli.

The rest is given over to well lit aisles of household essentials, stationery, pens, pencils and greetings cards, plastic goods, toys, artificial flowers and much more. There is a chilled cabinet of snacks and drinks, and a rack of chocolate and biscuits to tempt you before heading to the check out beside the door.

They sell a small range of the usual stuff such as greetings cards, wrapping paper and some stationery. The queues are never very long and I've always found the staff helpful and pleasant. Cons: Range of goods is far more limited than some other post offices, which are almost like general stores - but then if you want the shop go 100 yards down the road - if the post office sold more the queues would be longer!

Originally built in the 19th century, this was first known as Pembrey New Harbour. The marina…read moreopened in 2004 and the whole area is still being improved as part of the Millennium Coastal Park project. The harbour has commercial (fishing) and pleasure craft. There are pleasant walks around the whole harbour area with great views of the beaches, lighthouse, and across the Loughor Estuary to the Gower Peninsula. (The Millennium Coastal Path also follows the coast in both directions from here.) You can find some memorials around the harbour which commemorate the flight of Amelia Earhart, the first woman to cross the Atlantic by air. In 1928 her seaplane 'Friendship', flown all the way from Newfoundland, landed here and Amelia and her two pilots were welcomed by the people of the town. There is a huge long stay, and a short stay, car park (pay and display) - just follow the signs. It's about the same distance to walk to the town from either. There are public toilets in the long stay car park but they leave something to be desired, having been subjected to a degree of vandalism recently (there are much better toilets at the station).
