Just went to browse in the back for retro stuff and the guy working there left his counter to tell me about some deals. Told him I was just browsing and he wouldn't shut up about these Gamestop-esque deals. I really did not care and it was extremely uncomfortable. It seemed like whenever our eyes meet, he would have to say something. It was like a Pokemon battle. I literally walked to sections of the store I didn't want to just so I didn't have to run into him. This should not happen. Not only that, the selection of games was not very good. I used to find rows and rows of cheap games here, but after swimming through shelves and shelves of nothing but DVDs and useless merchandise, one of the most valuable things they had was John Madden on Genesis in-box. Whooptie doo. Most of the other games had torn stickers on them. Poor Sonic & Knuckles had bits of the plastic cut in it, as if a buzz-saw nicked it somehow. Seriously?? How did they get like this?! The store was also very dirty and unkempt. I almost tripped on some bits of shelving when I went to the album section. I am a pretty avid fan of brick and mortar stores and was actually planning on purchasing at least something there, but I ultimately changed my mind and left. Dudebros who apparently bought this place would rather talk your ear off about purchasing DVD and merchandise snake oil than anything worth your collection. Try FX at Richland Mall.

They would NOT honor the typed & posted price! It's the principle of the matter! It's false advertising for one thing! They should've honored the price posted! They refused & caused a scene & changed the price to $10 just before we left. They tried to tell me that the car price was mis marked. But there was an entire box of those little plastic trucks and the box had a price of eight dollars on it for all those trucks. As I was trying to argue with them they decided to change the price to $10. That's very rude and it's the principle of matter. A good business does not do that, they honor the price that's posted. They then fix it for next time but they want customers to come back so they should make the customer happy.

The organization of music here is easy and super friendly for anyone who may have a short amount of time to browse, like I did when I came in. I stopped in quickly while passing through Waco on a work road trip and I was glad I did. I lucked out and found parking directly in front of the shop which allowed me to spend more time in the shop. From newly released vinyl for any artist to gently used vinyl there is plenty to find here. I was able to find a brand new LP from a early 2000's artist here and was super pleased with the pricing. Pricing here is super reasonable and the collection is high-quality and admirable. I was finding artists and albums I didn't know I wanted until I came here :) There was an older couple in here watching a music video on the large projection screen at the back of the shop. It was such a nice soundtrack to have as I did my browsing. I learned, from maybe talking to the owner, that this shop is only going to expand and will continue to have live music shows in the shop with the store/place next door. It was delightful to hear that this shop is going to be expand and invite more folks to come in and hang around good music and vibes. I will definitely be back in the future and bring my vinyl collector friends with me when I am in the area again.
