Pretty excited about this place. Super convenient (less than 5 minutes drive). Very fair pricing $35 for 30 min which is really closer to 40 min. To top it off the massage therapist Chiara is amazingly nice and super attuned to what your body needs and how hard to work a specific area. I'm certainly no expert when it comes to massages, my 1st couple of massages were couples massages years ago in Hawaii that were more of a vacation activity. I've had a couple of normal massages over the years but sporadic would be an understatement.
My wife started going here a few months back a couple of times a month and loves her. So I went a couple of months ago and enjoyed it, but was able to convince myself I didn't need it (bottom line I'm a cheapskate). Well exercising a couple of weeks ago I pulled a couple of muscles on the left side of my back and shoulder. I could barely turn my head... it was pretty awful. My wife texted Chiara that afternoon and she was able to fit me for an opening the following day.
The 1st massage hurt like hell, there was a lot of butt clenching and gritted teeth. As you can imagine not a lot of talking. Immediately after the massage I had 50% more mobility in my neck and the left side of my body wasn't sporadically locking up. I went back 6 days later and while still painful I could still carry on a conversation for the most part. She has a delightfully thick Italian accent and we quickly formed an unbreakable friendship with our love for food (ok I may have exaggerated our bond...pretty sure we wouldn't take a bullet for each other). She told me about an awesome little store, Baghdad Market, where I picked up some amazing freshly made Naan and some Turkish delights which I guess is a pretty popular little candy.
Bottom line: She is the cats pajamas, you get an amazing massage, great conversation, and if you play your cards right new exciting places to check out. read more
