If you want to have an out-of-the-ordinary experience in Spain, and you are traveling in the Barcelona area, we highly recommend Ludija's plein air water color experience in Lloret-del-Mar. And what an experience it was! Lidija and her British assistant, (Olivia I believe), both painters themselves, met us at a magnificent villa perched high over the Mediterranean. There, in the wonderful gardens, our artist hosts provided us with art supplies and guidance. We spent most of an afternoon painting and enjoying the gardens, the vistas and some refreshments. There were six of us, ranging from inexperienced newbies to a professional artist. We all enjoyed the experience. read more
