That was indeed all the time required to enjoy plates of exquisitely grilled fresh fish and a lamb "trilogy" (chop, filet, shoulder cut) with a terrific dry country-style red Greek wine. As we ate, the place filled up with huge banquet parties from the Bookfair, yet the service was consistently gracious & proper. Parthenon is an accommodating, stylish restaurant, clean white tablecloths and starched napkins, reasonably priced & expertly prepared cuisine.

The menu is extensive and there is plenty of choice for most people. The food here is ok and nothing special. The dal makhani was spicy as I asked for it so. The palak paneer was ok and less sweet than some other places I have eaten at before. The roti was a bit bland and tasteless and I ended up throwing away half of it. Nothing I tasted made me want to come back here. I will give it another try and decide. I would rate the food here 2.5 stars at best. Staff were friendly and always trying to upsell. They seemed preoccupied with other things and it took a while to get the food ready despite the place being almost empty. It's an ok place and I am not convinced it will get any better next time but, we shall see.

Menus were brought quickly and the waiter mentioned that aside from the lunch menu, they also have an extra lunch special of some chicken curry that includes an appetizer and a dessert for 9€. We did not have to wait very long for our food, but received a complimentary salad as an appetizer first which was a nice touch. Overall, the food was pretty good. The naan and my friend's chickpeas were my favorite items but everything was pretty tasty. The service was friendly and quick enough - I have no complaints.
