It was absolutely a complete waste of money, time, and drive. Took us 45 minutes to drive there WITHOUT TRAFFIC. The total time it took us to do everything there was literally less than 15 minutes. The displays are a joke; NOT REAL PUMPKINS, not even any Halloween themed displays. It was incredibly disappointing, especially when tickets for just TWO ADULTS were $30!!!!!! An insane rip-off. STAY AWAY, not worth it. It really had so much potential, but let me end this by breaking it down for you: They advertise "On site pumpkin carving artists"= one guy on a bench with dimly lit light. "A festival with food and activities"= ONE food truck, ONE beer truck....the psychic wasn't even there. Literally that's it. "Strider Adventure Zone"= a tiny bike area the size of my apartment kitchen. "and much, MUCH more" when in reality there really isn't anything. Complete rip-off. The people who put on this community event should be ashamed of themselves- I'd love to tell that to their face. Wish I had some actual recommendations to make it better but it was such a flop, it's not worth the effort. While I thought the pumpkins were very lovely and whimsical, it was really overpriced for what you get. You walk along a path full of beautifully lit carved pumpkins which were nicely done. However, even walking slowly the entire path takes less than an hour. They had three games for kids to play but these were all packed considering there were only 3. Food trucks were limited and there was nothing as far as snacks other than cider, cocoa and pumpkin pie with no whipped cream. Considering that we spent $42 for 3 of us I felt disappointed. It is their first year here so hopefully they decide to ramp it up to improve it in the future. read more

Pumpkin nights was neat. It was neat for 5 bucks a kid and 8 bucks for adults. It's rediculously expensive for what it is. The price was 26 bucks per adult and 16 per kid. And of course they charge for parking. It was very disappointing. We drove over an hour the lines were long and only Koren food. Where the hell was the corn dogs and French fries. As far as the rock dig for a pumpkin??? You wait in a long long line to get to a kid dressed as a wizard and you get a small dirty, banged up pumpkin very very disappointing. I'd say these people could care less about the kids celebrating a holiday they just want to screw the adverge family and make their money. It kind of makes me sick. Fun night out with the family. There was a lot of fun lights for Halloween and fun activities to play with the family. My nephew had a blast in the bounce house and it was not overly crowded. There was also yummy treats for the kids (and adults). The best part was the fire show, they did an amazing job. It was perfect for a fun thing to do with the family on a week night. read more

There is no way to describe how painfully below average this event is. But I'll try anyway. From the ticket area where a minimum wage teen dressed like a crossing guard scans your over priced ticket to the white sheet playing Harry Potter on this new fangled contraption called a DVD player, Pumpkin Nights aims low and still manages to miss. Prepare to gasp in absolute boredom around very few corners as you walk through Gross Bubble Land, Weird Hay Bale Space Land, The Land We Forgot to Decorate Land, Rented Music Speaker Land and, my favorite area, Social Media Reminder Land. Pumpkin Nights is a great idea that is executed with so little effort, skill and thought that it feels like a parking lot fundraiser where the volunteers putting it together quit even before "good enough" had been achieved. read more

Had a great time with the family. It was super fun and really cool walking around and seeing all the colorful lights and the neatly decorated pumpkins. Super creative decor and fun. The bounce houses were great for the kids and the people who worked there were nice as well. There was also a fire show with two people throwing fire as well as doing some pretty awesome tricks. This place is a scam and very misleading. I went on friday and at the end of the walk through the place I discovered that the large displays with many pumkins making up a larger sculpture together are actually made of plastic molds. They are fake. The big dragon they are so proud of is actually not made of any pumkins st all. It's made of plastic. They are ripping ppl off and putting a rope railing 30 ft from displays so that no will notice. I jumped the rope and that's when I discovered it is all fake. They do have a few real single pumpkin carvings that you can get close to but all the big ones are not sculptures or art of any kind. They a machine made. Not what they advertise. Horrible. They should give everyone their money back. Its not worth $14.00 let alone $20.00 for regular price. You basically walk in and see some fake pumpkins hanging through the entrance. They throw a bunch of colored lights on the ground and call it a day. Was very small and just a big waste of time and money. On top of that they charge $6.00 for parking. The only thing that gets this event even one star, was the fire dancing. That was pretty cool, and entertained us twice as long as it took us to walk the entirety of the pumpkin patch lights. Food trucks were expensive, pumpkins were fake, and then there was nothing else to do after 15 minutes of walking. This would've been OK if it was five dollars per person, but $20 is pretty bad, do not recommend it especially if you do not have kids: And if you do you have kids, make sure they are Young, and it will probably get you an hour of entertainment. read more

It's definitely very oriented for pictures but the different color lights make kids very excited. There's different areas with different themes all incorporating pumpkins in somehow. Very artistically pleasing to the eye. It's like the winter wonderland but for Halloween! Loved it. Also they offered food trucks with a couple different options, could be better though. Overall I would highly recommend if you've never been and enjoy it with family read more

This is for the Minneapolis Review. 2 stars for the initial wow factor of smoke, fire show, and lighting but, for 40 dollars and being done in 30 minutes I'm not sure it was worth it. Totally not worth the $20 admission. The styrofoam pumpkins are cool but the exhibits are spaced out to far apart & not enough pumpkins to really fill the space. It looks nothing like the nice website. How can anyone sit down & watch a movie w an (empty) dance floor right next door blaring music. A few food trucks were there w not enough seating. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!! I cannot stress this enough! All the pumpkins are plastic. It took only 30 minutes to walk the entire event. Then I receive an email with a special "bounce back" offer for $10/ ticket. They should have sold them originally for $10 (not $20) and give you a free live pumpkin (or something) at the end. This was a joke. I regretted buying tickets about a week before our day to go since I was hearing friends stating that it wasn't worth the money. Took over half an hour to drive there and we seriously walked through everything in just under 20 minutes. Kids I saw seemed to enjoy it, but still not worth the cost for a family to go. And the room with the fog machine was extremely dense, looked cheap, and stunk of bad air freshener which I'm assuming was for effect. I didn't understand the concept at all. I read somewhere that Walt Disney hated empty spaces in his park. Boy, could Pumpkin Nights learn a thing or two from him. The saddest and most frustrating aspect of this event is it's potential snuffed out by lack of effort. It's a depressing collection of static light displays punctuating long stretches of dark space. The organizers couldn't be bothered to use real pumpkins because that would be hard. They settled, instead, for styrofoam cutouts glued to wood and stuck through with colored lights. They have activities though. A sad, schoolyard tetherball pole and a couple seesaws. Thrilling. The centerpiece display is nothing more than an empty room with some blue lights scattered about the floor with with more fake pumpkins vaguely themed as jellyfish. For 20 dollars, you can see everything in literally 10 minutes. I never usually do bad reviews on yelp but this made me angry. This is either a cynical cash-grab or a sincere attempt at greatness hampered by aggressive mediocrity. Seriously, who do these people think they are charging families this much money for what amounts to a spectacular nothing? It doesn't even deserve one star, really. In this state, Pumpkin Nights should be free. Don't waste your time. read more

Most all of the pumpkins are fake, and seem to be laser cut. There's a lot of space, compared to the amount of attractions. One "exhibit" is an underwater theme in a large room, where half the room is just strings of Christmas lights randomly thrown across the floor, and plastic pumpkins hanging, with plastic streamers dangling from them. It's supposed to be jellyfish. The flow of the course is not intuitive at all. There are arrows on the ground, but they start further in, and no one tells you about them. There were a lot of people wandering around, trying to figure out where it should start. There's one "interactive" area, where it's just hay on the ground with some seesaws, hula hoops, and a flat tetherball. The hay bale maze is a joke. At one point, there's one guy carving a pumpkin with a little knife, and a few pumpkins around him. Those are the only real pumpkins in the whole place. My husband said it perfectly, when he said it should be smaller so it isn't as spread out, and it should be $5 instead of $20. I honestly have been to better school and church produced pumpkin attractions, in my life. To call it half assed would be an understatement. I am so glad we got our tickets in advance, because if we had waited in line for this, we all would have been angry. Luckily we were staying with friends nearby, and went for fun. If I had traveled just for this, I honestly think I would have requested a refund. Also, right when you get in they offer you a raffle ticket for a gift card, and tell you to check it on one of their designated screens. It asks for your contract info though, so they can spam you with affiliate offers. There were 6 of us who went together. We spent a lot of the night laughing about what an outrageous scam the entire thing is. read more

NOT WORTH THE PRICE for the year of 2017. Not much to do for the price you pay. I highly suggest that next time they decide to come out they charge less for the Auburn guests. I mean, come on! They had a stage to work with! If this was my event that stage would have been the INCREDIBLE set to capture my guests! Make it less than $10 or we aint ever coming back. The best part was the free parking and good selection of music at the mini food court, and the amazing homemade funnel cakes! But come on guys, get some Halloween acts on stage! Such a cute idea ..a real pumpkin city! We took the kids (2 and 8) here on a Friday night around 7. Wasn't crowded and parking was easy. The pumpkins were carved beautifully and looked great at night. The kids were pointing and running up to the next after the next. My only wish was that it was bigger with more to see. Maybe that's what makes this place special - you want more of the uniqueness!! It was like nothing I've seen before. I hope next year there is more to see. We will be back! read more

This event might have seemed more worth it if the cost had been reduced. We paid nearly $60 for a family of 3. WAY overpriced. The pumpkin displays were nice, but it only took about 20 minutes to walk through them all. Prices were posted for some vendors, but not others. The face painting was free, but the fortune teller was $5 (not posted). Hopefully this event will improve with time. My 8-year-old was pretty disappointed. The BEST EVENT my family has been to this entire Halloween Season!! Everyone was in awe over the amazing pumpkins, and the bird man helped us take an amazing picture with his owl. The fire dancers were amazing and such an exciting and action packed show! They event took a photo with our entire group after! Everyone loved this event and we definitely plan on going back! Our group got our very own VIP tent with hot beverages and cookies! All the staff were extremely welcoming and helpful with our needs - overall, an excellent event !! read more

Save your money! SO not worth $20 adult (and my 13 year old is now an adult?!) and $16 kids, plus $2/ticket service fee. Walk was done in 20 minutes, and any "interactive activities" are apparently closed at 9:30 on a Saturday?? Semi neat art, but I would never pay more than a few bucks to do this again. And the VERY FAKE pumpkins really make it way less impressive. Also...$4 hot chocolate and $9.50 barely warm cinnamon bites with cold frosting?! Even with the "night owl" discount you're paying $14 a head to walk through a corral of hay bails, string lights, and FAKE STYROFOAM PUMPKINS like a herd of cattle. We went last year and have raved about it to everyone it was so wonderful!! Went last night to the 2018 version and am very disappointed. Seems like there were fewer displays, some were basically repeats of last year's. The feeling was not as festive. Probably won't go next year it was so disappointing. read more
