Had a 3-month follow-up in December with Dr Haines/Pulse Primary Care, 299 Carew St, Springfield, MA. As I'm leaving the office to make my next appointment, I'm told it will be with Patrick, the PA. I said No, thank you. I want to see Dr Haines. The receptionist says, "Oh, he's retiring this week." I am 61, have been seeing him since my 20s, and this is how I find out. Okay, I move on, and at my next appointment 3 months later, they take me in and say, "Okay, let's get Patrick on Zoom." Needless to say, I was not pleased. He was fine, but not what I was expecting. Okay, I move on, but it keeps going downhill. I was told I need to see a Pulmonologist, and they will set it up, but it never happened. Next, I need to refill a medication, so my pharmacy tells me I need to call the doctor's office. I'm then told there will be no prescription refills without speaking to a physician. By the way, all my medications were reviewed at my appointment with Patrick. I explain it's for my blood thinner, and I will be out as of the next day. They say, we can do a Zoom call in four days. I say okay, but I will be out of medication. They said, "Sorry, see you in four days." So I get an urgent care appointment through Cigna's Telehealth, which not only fills my prescription that day but connects me with a Telehealth Primary Care Physician. I canceled my Haines/Pulse appointment, thinking I was done with them, but no. I received a call the morning of my cancelled appointment, informing me that THEY needed to cancel the appointment I had already cancelled! Unbelievable.
