Witnessed the geriatric guy on the crew manhandle my patio furniture. The crew should bring whatever survival gear they need and not touch the homeowners property. One of the crew parked his truck in the grass! Would that be acceptable to do at his home? On the day it rained, I came home to find water spots on the ceilings of three rooms. I was told I need to paint that. WRONG!! I don't need to do a thing - the roofing company needs to make arrangements to have it painted and not just touched up. Why wasn't a tarp put down to prevent this?!?!? Found a number of screws, pieces of tar paper / old shingles and nails in the grass and on the driveway. Now they are working on another unit across the street. They have no reason to be near my house. On my camera, I see a guy behind my house walking to another house that has a lot of trees and is somewhat secluded. He has no reason to be going there. My guess is he relieved himself in that neighbors yard. UNACCEPTABLE!! No skill and for sure no class!

We did our research and this company has been around since 1996 in Perry, Ohio. They gave us the most reasonable quote out of several competitors. We had a wide range of color options for the shingles, too. After a bit of a wait because of busy season, (which is to be expected) we were squeezed in on a beautiful, sunny day. The roofing crew was prompt, courteous, hard working and got 90% of our roof done in one day, only having to come back for a few hours the next day to add the finishing touches of ridge vents and cap shingles. They were also very thorough in cleaning up afterwards. (Because there's nothing worse than a nail in your car tire!) Our new roof is beautiful! We're so glad we went with K&K! If you're in the Cleveland area, give them a call! Highly recommended!

I initially had multiple different contractors and companies out to give quotes. The Sibert representative that I had dealt with in the beginning of this process was very persistent and reached out regularly to convince me to choose their company, which I did. He came out immediately for me to sign the contract with the promise that the build would begin in "3-4 weeks or sooner" and would only take a few days to complete once started. This timeline is even indicated right on our contract. That's the only reason I chose them, because their timeline was the best. After signing the contract mid September and paying a $10,000 down payment, communication with the company was almost completely absent. The person I signed the contract with said he would provide me with an invoice that shows I made the down payment later that same day. It took him over 3 weeks to even provide me with a receipt, and only after I called and messaged him multiple times for 3 weeks requesting the receipt. The same representative would tell me that they were coming this day and that day but never showed up. This happened nearly a dozen times that he would message me and say they're coming but never show up. They never even reached out to tell me they weren't coming. They just no-showed. I then started communicating with a different person from the company but that wasn't much better. I was told each week for 8+ weeks that the project would begin that week but nothing ever began. It's now been over 13 weeks since signing the contract and the project never started. Over the weeks, I reached out to Sibert Pro multiple times expressing that if the project is too much to take on, or if they're that far behind, that I would be fine with taking my refund and hiring another company. However, they kept promising that it would begin that week, and that week just never came. After over 12 weeks and multiple missed deadlines that they promised they would be started and finished by had passed, I ended up demanding my money back. Then they kept telling me that they'll send my refund this day or that day. I sent 8 messages and an email over the course of over a week before I even got a confirmation for a refund. I even got to the point that I consulted with my attorney and was prepared to take legal action because of how many times they brushed me off with the project and then with giving my money back. It took a total of 11 days of me asking each day for my refund before I got it. I always try to give companies, especially local businesses, the benefit of the doubt but this company was awful to deal with and made such a multitude of false promises that I had to share my experience in hopes that others don't fall for what I did. I found them to be extremely unreliable, dishonest, and quite unprofessional. If they were honest from the beginning and communicated that they we're running behind or wouldn't be able to do the job, I would be much less upset. But they kept guaranteeing me each week that it would begin that week, and it just never did. Then they waited until winter when it was too late to even begin to admit they wouldn't be able to do it. I could have had another company do it months ago and have it finished for winter but Sibert Pro conned me.

Admittedly we expanded our project as we went, but I have never had a contractor that expected the customer to buy even the basic supplies... ie: paint rollers, pans, etc. ( I have had prior contractors who gave me a quote and they purchased all supplies and did the work.) Fine went down hill quickly.... they don't know how to measure... door jams don't meet the floor, trim in the bathroom is off by more than a quarter of an inch. AND... don't even expect a decent application of paint! The wainscoating buckled to the point of pushing trim out of line and of course that wasn't corrected. Brett doesn't stand by his work either... we voiced concerns and he said he would "fix it" On several occasions he said he would come to do work and he never showed. Last time he was here, I thought he was coming back to do final touch ups but NO.... I have sent him pics of cracked dry wall, paint/plaster on windows, carpets/trim, areas of walls that have missed paint, etc. and there is a window sill that is SOOO out of level you can't set a plant on it. At one time he told my husband, " I didn't know she wanted things so fancy." In my opinion, nothing is fancy but I did expect professional service. If what was being asked was out of his realm of expertise, he should have said so and another contractor would have been retained. He has not responded to calls or texts. BEWARE.

They cleaned it up, removed 2 to 3 inches of soil, and trimmed everything.. They moved things around for me because the original owners had planted stuff too close together.
