Save your money. The larger units are all unfinished. This means fiberglass on all your belongings but they won't tell you that until after you sign the contract. Then they offer to sell you a tarp to protect your things. It's dirty. There is foil falling from the ceiling. For the price, you could find so much better elsewhere. read more

I walked in the Green Valley location after having many issues with trying to secure storage online with different locations. This included other public storage locations. A very pleasant and personable person by the name of Katie waited on me and made it really simple. They had a dollar first month rate which was a nice incentive, but that was secondary to just having a simple procedure which Katie did in a professional manner. There are substitute personnel when I come in to pay my bill, but Katie really makes it more pleasant. In fact she kind of made me feel okay about the rate increase which may make me look for another location's. read more

Theft ridden and twice as expensive as competition. Pulling car into lot is like a mousetrap. Fucked up company. Forces you to install hockey puck lock even if you are moving out. Habitually understaffed so the manager is usually out in the complex. Irritating experience. Company Policy says use this lock but they only tell you after you bought another one. Down the road is cheaper and easier to get into and easier to deal with. We had a 10am appt, there was a sign on the door saying be back 30 minutes, no indication of what time the sign was put up. I called the number that shows online for the property, 702.530.7952, it is a call center, I spoke to Rachel, who in my opinion should not work with people, very rude and dismissive. I can't say enough bad things about this place. DO NOT STORE YOUR THINGS HERE! Some of the units leak when the swamp coolers are on and I unfortunately had things stored in one of them. Over $20,000 of brand new appliances plus all of our kitchen packed up and stored during a re-model. We discovered it and were obviously furious. I go to the office for help and nobody is there. Not the first time I banged on the door during office hours and nobody was there. I think the set hours are very randomly followed. All they wanted to do was sell us another unit. They offered no help and told us to come back to the office once we moved everything to the new, DRY location. No help pushing heavy appliances, not even holding the elevator. NO help whatsoever. Their crappy insurance covers up to $5K...oh, that's helpful. Now I go daily to check our things and can't wait to get the heck out of there. They are only interested in taking your money and up-selling you. There is total lack of management here and no clue how to extend customer service. Can I give them negative stars? Our soaked appliance have dried out in the boxes; but we won't know if they actually work until we are ready to install. As we walked out of the office Katie offered one mumbled "sorry" to us. Unbelievably bad...and yesterday she calls me to ask for a payment! Really....Public Storage should be paying me to keep my mouth shut because I've trashed them to everyone I know. DO NOT PUT YOUR belongings there unless you want them soaked or stolen. read more

I absolutely despise this storage facility. Upon setting up my storage, I was quoted a specific price and told that it would be the price for as long as my unit was rented. Six months later, they raised the price for my unit. And it has continued to go up since. I now pay double of what I was told my storage unit would cost. I am out of state long term on business, so I was left with no other choice but to be stuck with the forever raising prices of this company. The management, corporate included, is very unprofessional and greatly lacks customer service. They will tell you one price, then slowly raise their rates. I was also informed that there may have been a leak from the roof into my unit. I cannot wait to be back and get my belongings out of this facility. Do yourself a HUGE favor, go with a different storage company. Don't get fooled by their gimmicks and "Internet sales," You may pay more elsewhere, but it is worth it in the long run with their ridiculous fees and continually rising prices. I would honestly give this company zero stars, but I'm not given that option. You however, are given the option to choose a storage elsewhere. read more

Not recommended. Special locks and insurance requirement never mentioned when reviewing costs over the phone. Clear tactic to up sell and leave you without other choise once you are there with all your belongings. You need to bring a disc lock if you do not want to overpay for one, and you can use your renters insurance instead of buying insurance from them. When property manager was questioned about this, she said that the people on the phone job is to get you to her door and that's it. They are always understaffed, so it is very hard to contact them. read more

My husband and I rent a storage unit from Public Storage. We received an email saying "thank you for vacating your unit" when we never vacated nor did we give any kind of notice that could be misconstrued as vacating. I'm a flight attendant so I'm gone for days at a time and my husband works during there office hours. We were locked out of our unit for 6 days, they took away our access code and removed our card for automatic payment. We weren't able to get ahold of the office till the 6th day when they gave us a temporary code to access our unit. The trainee who closed our account instead of the unit 20 down from ours who was actually vacating said she would give us a free month. Management and the corporate office didnt give us the month, which is fine, but we at least should have been prorated for the 6 days we were locked out of our unit. They are not willing to do anything for us. That is borderline theft. They held our items hostage where we didn't have access to our unit and now are charging us for that time anyway. This is ridiculous! The utter lack of customer service is appalling and the trainee who caused this mess needs to be retrained at the bare minimum. The eemployees this location as well as the corporate office are rude and this company is criminal!!! read more

I came in today 2/25/16 to pay for a unit I reserved over 1 week prior for and when speaking with brittany she had told me that the "advanced booking" cancelled my unit, and that I could get another one for a higher price monthly, but she wasn't showing anything available until tomorrow 2/26. At this point I was frustrated simply because today was THEE day I was able to move having a uhaul and man power to do so. Brittany helped me greatly. She was able to honor the price originally quoted because I had the email confirmation with the original price on it. She also went above and beyond to find a unit for me to move into today. (Someone had just moved out). I was still able to get my half off of first months rent, I got the cheapest insurance of 11 dollars a month (mandatory) and I payed for the max security lock (mandatory) for 17.99. I got a pro rate of $10 being that it's the end of the month. With the rent, insurance, max lock, pro rate, and administration fee. I left spending 95.12 and next rent isn't due until April 1st. I am happy with her service and how she has helped me. Thank you brittany. read more

My intent was only to be here a few months and it has been perfect for a short term rental. When I initially made a reservation online it went smoothly. My only issues were with the actual manager when I first showed up. I was told that I could either purchase a lock from them or provide my own so I choose to provide my own. When I showed up the first time to use the facility the manager was there and told me that my lock could not be used, that I could only use one of her kind of locks and it cost me another $20 something for that. It wasn't the idea of having to purchase the lock it was her crappy attitude where she treated me like I was some kind of criminal. I'm sorry that you probably deal with some terrible people in the business but treating a new customer that poorly is just not good customer service. I think she should either lighten up a bit and be nicer or find a new career where she wont have to be such a nasty person. NO ONE likes to be talked down to and that is exactly how she spoke to me, like I was some kind of low life idiot who didn't know what end was up. The rest of the staff there has always been nice to me whenever I had any contact with them but as for the manager, shame on her for her bitchy attitude. read more

If I could give this business less then 1 star I would! When I went in to the storage place a young woman helped me. First thing she didn't know where the heck the storage unit was located she had me following her around in circles! So she decided to give me another unit. I went in the night before because I was going to be moving first thing that Saturday. Well, I received a call from the "so called" manager Brittany and she stated that I needed to come back because she forgot to change my storage unit #. I was suppose to have 606 but she couldn't find it so she had given me unit 695. Well I get back to the location she changed the unit in the system BUT the employee never took the lock off! I specifically asked her to make sure the lock was off because I was moving my belongings in. She assured me that every thing will be an easy move. So, can you guess what happen? Yep she never took off the darn second lock, so I had to drive back the next morning with the Uhaul full of my belongings and had to wait until they opened to have the storage units corrected and locks taken off, now because the so called manager didn't do her job correctly I had to pay Uhaul double the amount of to rent the truck. Now, I've paid my last months rent at this facility and I call yet again to make certain there wouldn't be any issues with me moving my belongings out. I planned on going in first thing in the morning to get it over and done with. Well, you can guess it, I had issues moving my belongings out. Now because of the mix up of storage units, 606 and 695. When I go in to move my belongings at 7 am that morning there was a lock on my unit!! They once again had gotten my unit mixed up AGAIN! I guess the other person in 606 hadn't paid their storage so my storage 695 had a lock on it (-_-). I again had to wait for these people to figure out what happened again and take the lock off! Again had to pay another extra day for the Uhaul. I am very VERY displeased with this company! I would never recommend this place to my family and friends or even to my worst enemy! Oh and another thing they never apologized for their mistakes, they just blamed it on the previous person that helped me. So save your time and MONEY and never rent from this storage place!! read more
