On the side in front of this building on the east side of Niagara Street near prospect is this fabulously colorful mural. It's signed by left-handed bandit and looks like it was painted in 2020. Flowers and all sorts of other colorful things. read more

Thanks to the Buffalo photo blog I have found out it's name which is a Black Rock Mural. Wilson Stephens painted it. It's got a few landmarks, Niagara Falls being the obvious one, but also Squaw Island. Both may have been part of the underground railroad.

This building was an eyesore and the neighborhood must be thrilled that at least now there's some art on it. And it's eye catching given the location of this building - where Busti and Niagara meet. The mural makes a nod to the use and ownership of the building.
