I was somewhat reluctant to trust another law firm but Boyd, Fernambucq & Dunn was highly recommended by several people whom I trust so I went to talk with Mr. Fernambucq. When I first started therapy, I never could have imagined how many different seasons of life we would work through together. They were there for me through my divorce, learning how to navigate life as a single coparent, and eventually figuring out how to put myself back out there and date again. There were definitely moments when I felt overwhelmed, unsure of myself, or just completely stuck, and having someone who could help me work through those feelings made such a difference. What I appreciate most is that I've always felt comfortable being completely honest with them. I never feel judged, and I also don't feel like I'm just being told what I want to hear. They listen, ask the right questions, and sometimes challenge me to look at things differently when I need it. There have been so many times when I've walked into a session thinking I knew exactly what was bothering me, only to realize through our conversation that there was something deeper going on. Over these four years, I've grown so much--not just in how I handle difficult situations, but in how I understand myself, my relationships, my boundaries, and what I actually want out of life. Therapy has become a place where I can pause, be honest with myself, and work through things without feeling like I have to have all the answers. I'm genuinely grateful to have had someone consistently in my corner through so many major life changes. If you're considering therapy and want someone who will listen, challenge you when necessary, and genuinely meet you where you are, I would absolutely recommend Kianna! Four years in, I still feel like therapy is one of the best investments I've made in myself.
