We sat at the very back and people in the front would have had to lean back to see the planetarium screen view. My seat did not lean back, not sure if ones at front did. The club is very nice, we were treated so well and we did enjoy our time there. But it was quite a drive out there so we would go or I would go onlly 4 or 5 times a month, occasionally 6 times. The problem was, which upset me a lot, was when I got home each time from the club, I would jot down the cost of my meal and drink. The bill would come end of month and always was way more than it should have been. I would call, they would say sorry and next month was the same. There is no way they could do this month after month without the intention to shaft you. Six lunches instead of four, 2 dinners instead of one, 8 drinks instead of four. Every single month. I finally decided enough was enough and told them I was done, when I had joined, which was thousands of dollars, they said if we wanted to quit at any time we would get our money back. Now they said sorry, rules changed, club under new ownership, but when we see all our memberships, then you will get your money back. Oh ok. So a year later I pulled my file and they said we still have not sold all of our memeberships. And the next, I then asked how many more did they have to sell. They were not sure at the time. The next year, how many more, and they said the one you need to speak to is not here right now. Next, oh that information is not at hand. And then they sold again. And I gave up. Keep the damn money. Use it to fix up the golf course next time it floods and it does flood all the time. Just glad we never bought a house out there. Cannot imagine the horror that would have been. Lesson learned.Will never ever join anything like that again.

I have a vintage film camera that's special to me and my husband, we took it all around Europe together, even into the Louvre! I hadn't planned on taking any pictures (it doesn't even have a flash on it it's very old) but I didn't want to leave it in the car because the heat can ruin the film. I got snapped at and had to leave it in a closet at the front. Then when we left, "oh, you can't take that camera in the gardens either". Dude. Let me tell you something, "art gallery" of Shreveport, you are not that special. Whatever art you have here, is not worth being so obnoxiously pompous that people never want to come back. You are a tiny cockroach of the art world. And reading other reviews where you've been so protective of it that it turns people off from actually enjoying anything, large groups and little kids, makes it even less special. A simple "no photography allowed, sorry" would be enough to let me know I can't use my camera. My camera that took a photo of the Mona Lisa but can't be allowed NEAR whatever motel art y'all have. There are certainly a few Charles Russell and Frederic Remington works, but also a nice Chagall and a host of others conducive to pondering. The Norton is not tiny, but is the kind of manageable size that allows one to savor a bit more. And it's free! The grounds are a second full attraction -- think of the best spot in town to sit and read. While we visited and enjoyed them in the winter, they are set up to be spectacular in the spring, with a host of azaleas and others in a rolling setting. Wonderful.
