I would recommend using mapping to find this location as even though it is located on a busy main…read morestreet, it is tucked cozily within a plaza. There is plenty of private parking surrounding the plaza. We learned about this center from a friend. We joined her on a day that the center was having a 'special event'. Upon entering you are presented with a retail store front filled with a variety of items; pleasantly displayed and clearly marked for purchase. Once you walk around the corner, the store opens up to a larger area that then is surrounded by smaller rooms. When we arrived they were conducting a crystal singing bowl session within the main open area [within the center]. The lights were dimmed and people were scattered about on the floor on mats with pillows and blankets. There is a sofa available as well. A very relaxing moment, but we didn't know that they were in the middle of a session upon entering. We were as quiet as possible, and I even went back outside in an attempt to not make noises. Maybe they should put a note on the door to alert customers during sessions such as that. There is a public bathroom in the facility as well as several steps away directly across from the center within the courtyard. The staff were friendly and eager to answer questions. When I checked in today, I noticed that there is a Yelp discount coupon pop up; which was a nice addition to the experience. They have a nice variety of items available. The prices I did check on certain items of interest I felt were reasonable. The center/store is kept clean and well organized. I would describe this space as a welcoming environment.

The sound bath was held in the main room with multiple adjacent offices and the store front which caused significant distracting noises. For the brief minutes it would seize, the sound bath music was great, but as soon as one would fall into a trance, more voices or surrounding footsteps would occur. In a yoga studio, this would be perfect. But it's current choice of location makes this not ideal.

I've always been fascinated with psychic readings. There have been some that have really surprised…read moreme and I can't explain, but most unfortunately fall in line with what I experienced at Mrs Laurie's. Not that I'm all that surprised or disappointed, its interesting to note the techniques that they use. Over the past year, I've had a few readings from three different "psychics" at Mrs Laurie's. 1- None of them actually read the individual tarot cards. They won't read individual cards. I've received the same general reading each time I've been, no matter what cards were drawn. They basically ask what you do, where you're from, if you're single, your name...despite the big sign stating you don't have to say a thing, they know all. Then they throw out random attractive personality traits so you think they're describing you ie strong willed, loyal, etc. If you mention said sign and don't answer their questions, they will claim you're stubborn and strong willed and the reading will consist of a mini lecture on stubbornness and the need to be more flexible. 2- The palm reading constitutes of the exact same information as the tarot reading. It isn't an actual reading where they read the lines on your hand. 3- They then proceed to use a warm reading technique to make a generalized psychic reading. Meaning they make generalized statements that can apply to just about anyone, then they gauge your reactions and ask questions based on the direction you take them. Confirmation bias then makes it seem like they're getting more hits than misses. They then use a tactic called time-shifting whereby they encourage you to ask a detailed question and they answer it based on what they gleaned via the warm reading. 4- Then they proceed to ask if you live in Las Vegas. If you do, they use whatever question you asked to claim that you're in desperate need of a spiritual cleanse and consulting and offer to help you for between $200-$500. I've told them false problems on several occasions and they acted like they can read the situation and are picking up the psychic vibes and offered to resolve my problem within a few sessions.

Let me tell you that about 3 minutes into the journey I could feel the connection to Jen as she journied with and for me. We had talked on the phone a little prior to the journey. Jen made me feel so comfortable and important, she is kind and compassionate about helping others. After our time together, I was completely amazed and in awe that what I had experienced she validated. She is such a beautiful soul, I felt so alive, so energetically cleared! The next two days life just seems to be so beautiful. Every experience is different so I didn't want to share too much of my experience, however, I cannot sing her praises enough. I will definitely continue my journey with her.

What I left out of the original review is where Brittany called me a "loser c**t" and sent me a voice memo telling me to "suck her dead grandfathers ****" when I told her I did not want to pay the extra thousands she was requesting. She then she blocked me on imessage. BEFORE PAYING -- Brittany said the results were guaranteed within "24-36 hours" (I have a screenshot of this) and if it didn't work, I would be refunded. PERIOD. No caveats. I guess that's how she reels people in. She said she would send pictures two days after the work started. That never happened because there was no "work" ever completed. This was not a candle that was done on TikTok live. If a candle had actually been completed in front of my eyes, that would not be a "scam" and I would not be writing this review. I did not pay her the extra thousands because the whole "paying to rent crystals from a church member and sending the money back to me after" thing is a well-known scam that I was not falling for. I am also not someone who goes from live to live on TikTok asking yes/no questions or a "psychic junkie". In fact, I was brand new to Tiktok when I found Brittany and my experience with her was the reason I deleted the app and learned how to do my own "work." If what you're saying is true Brittany, what was my username on TikTok? Furthermore, if I was "racist" why would I have paid you in the first place? Best of luck to anyone who chooses to patronize this business. However, this was my experience and my truth, and I stand on that!
