It wasn't even a hot day but I knew I had to try what Amorino had to offer and I wasn't disappointed. I'm no connoisseur; I just enjoy gelato as much as the next guy. But the gelato that Amorino makes has the selection of flavors I have come to expect and, of equal import, the texture.
The real thing that make this place special is the care with which they dip up the cones. Instead of simply slapping gelato onto the crown, the gelatistas carefully craft gelato flowers, layering "petals" in and around the cone. It's really something to behold!
