The reason for the 2 star review is that they did help me pass the MPRE with a high score but that was because I had good coaching. But when it comes to bar prep, go elsewhere this place is not worth the money.

I chose the Project Management Academy Stephen Hoogerwerf based on a co-workers recommendation. I…read moreknew very little about how to prepare for the PMP. I chose the 4 day, in-person Bootcamp, located at a local hotel. The hotel was nice, the training room was very comfortable. I had no issues with the venue, except for the cost of the class some donuts or cookies would be great. I think that could have been done for cheap. The trainer was smart, nice, engaging, and full of energy! His style of teaching was refreshing and fed us stories to keep us alert! However, Bootcamps are tough, so Stephen knows this and does a great job responding to the stress of it all. I passed the PMP after taking the class and that is the most important piece of this review. I took it in October and passed in December. The material that PMA teaches is the same information the test is based on. They have nice handouts with all of the main terms. The only downside is that the class attempts to condense a large body of knowledge into 4 days. In my opinion, the class should be longer or in sessions, but that's just me. At the end of the class I was very tired and probably didn't retain much. The real work, for me, came the months of studying the class material, after the class. Note, you will need to look outside the class to learn the information deeper. The only reason I am giving 4 stars versus 5 stars is the Authors of PMA material could do a better job teaching the "Mindset" of the Project Manager and explaining how each knowledge area is connected in real world terms. Yes, the test is Utopia, but explain that Utopian world, so that we can really see it. Other than that the material and the PMA student portal is packed with pertinent information that will help you pass your PMP.

Since my initial encounter with Wellspring (Kumon Franchisee) early 2024, I have witnessed QUALITY…read moreEDUCATIONAL SERVICES (KUMON ENGLISH/MATH) being provided to students of all backgrounds regardless of their families income status, a safe environment, adherance to the Kumon motto, hiring of qualified staff, expansion of their extra curricular activities, focus on teen leadership and teen employment opportunities, an emphasis on building improvements, development of expansion plans, and a focus on ensuring 'No Parent Is Left Behind'. Parent partnership is really important in the success of the Kumon Riverdale site. These are all areas of importance that start and continue building an atmosphere that better supports the Kumon learning motto for all students (ages 6 - 17). One thing I found very impressive is how Wellspring (at the Kumon Riverdale site) ensures ALL students (and parents) have EQUITABLE ACCESS TO THE KUMON SERVICES (ENGLISH/MATH) via state funding, grant funding, private funding, partnerships, and more. At the Kumon Riverdale site, not 1 student's parent pays full tuition. MOST PARENTS PAY LESS THAN 25%** of the total cost per student, per subject, per month. Those savings (for parents) are also passed on during extra curricular activities, field trips, etc. ** Tuition is based on a variety of factors to be determined during orientation, but always equitable to students and parents! In closing, I believe there is great present and future opportunities for students (of all grade levels) at the Kumon Riverdale site, especially with the vision of the Wellspring leadership and the PARTNERSHIP OF THEIR AWESOME PARENTS! It is for this reason that I recommend Kumon Riverdale as a valuable option for your student's supplemental educational needs! My suggestion: "Let's Do Kumon Together!" See you soon!
