He answered all my questions quickly and with words I could easily understand (no big million-dollar medical words!). Over 50% of our initial appointment was him asking about where I have lived then he asked if I wanted to know his history. He was dismissive of my multiple disabling conditions. In fact, he told me I needed to go back to work (an impossibility when I'm icing my back all day due to no Tramadol or any other chronic pain relief). For ten years, my life has been stolen and I've gained 80 pounds within that same time frame. His solution? Go get my stomach stapled. I could have made that appointment without him as we have a PPO. Also, I don't want that surgery especially when there is a solution I previously had that worked. When, out of politeness, asked if he could be the PCP for my family, he scoffed stating he was getting 800 new patients due to someone leaving. When I was nearly hysterical, there were no less than 10 people in the room because no one could find a vein to get my IV started. And then out of nowhere this jack wagon with crazy eyes just pops me in my right knee with the nerve block without telling me or anything. The rest of the story is I'm in my early 60s and now have permanent nerve damage. I cannot feel my toes my leg and right calf and Foot and Ankle are either numb or aching from the nerve damage he created. He has completely ruined the rest of my life. I cannot drive for long distances it is also very difficult to take a shower and to walk and to do anything at all really. I was called by a medical assistant to tell me that the doctor I saw was just coverage and the real doctor "Nina" wanted to meet with me before she would be willing to prescribe it. Had to wait another two weeks for that visit to happen. A little annoying, but still not enough to get the one star review. What gets this clinic a one star review is that when this new appointment came around, the doctor walked in, asked me to confirm I was on plaquenil, then refused outright to prescribe Ritalin. I asked why was I even there then? That med was in my chart the whole time. I am a lupus patient and have been on that med for over ten years. So they scammed me out of another visit fee when they could have just let me know their conclusion over the phone. I took this up with Go Health customer service and they said since I was given an "evaluation" per the chart notes. There was nothing they could do and I owed them the full amount for their visit. 18 emails and I could not get them to understand why I should not be charged for this "evaluation." They just want an excuse to bill.

So I had to do the work to call Moda, and even the pharmacy where the injection comes from called me, before I got an approval letter for it. ROC said that they don't carry what was approved. What??????!!! Even Moda was confused. I'm just going to go to another orthopedic. I can't even call to talk to someone. Whoever replies to the texts lacks customer service. It has been about two weeks since I was there!! So Moda said to try someone else. Funny, they mentioned to me that ROC advertised Euflexxa. Tell your employees then.
