Whomever was "helping" customers was not a very friendly person. I would understand if he was dealing with many customers.. They assured him that they had birdbaths in stock, so off we went. It's out in the country a little bit, so of course we drove right past it the first time, and somehow the husband had the old name (Dunn's), though now it's called Tree House. Parked, someone asked us if we needed help and directed us to the selection of concrete birdbaths. However, though they had tags, they didn't actually have any prices. Our helper checked the system and gave us a price range of something like $35-140, which was...not super useful. We eventually selected a small one, which she somehow determined to be $42.99. I had to go over to their little hut to pay, but they did offer to load it in our truck for us. If you need plants, or especially Christmas-related plants, this is the place right now -- they had a beautiful selection of trees, poinsettias, etc. in addition to annuals (as a Yankee, seeing snapdragons and pansies in November is real trip, let me tell you!). They also seem to have a ton of beautifully painted pottery. Overall, it did the job, and I would happily return here for any planting/outdoor needs.

David and another guy, I can't remember his name, were really helpful. They told which brands seemed most reliable and so on. They also recommended using their free delivery service. I've never used a store delivery service and never have had anything free turned out to be free. The refrigerator was to be delivered on a Sunday. On Saturday, I got an automated call telling me that they would be there between 8 and 1. I got up that morning and emptied the old one and removed it from my house. About 1 o'clock I got a call from a lady that said that they weren't going to be able to deliver my refrigerator. I asked why and why they called so late. She replied that she called about 7:30 that morning. I told her that my phone had not rung and my call log didn't show it either. Well, this lady seemed surprised that I wasn't impressed with her effort. I told her I would come get it my damn self. She got mad and I said I was cussing her. I asked her how would she feel if she waited on a delivery, and a dumbass waited until the last minute to let her know, leaving her with food in a cooler. Long story short, I went to Lowe's and demanded to see the manager. The manager knocked another 15% off the total price and apologized. I was happy with my service at the store. However, I'm not happy with the idiot on the phone. I wish I had gotten her name.

Hello, Last Sunday we ordered a washer and dryer. Delivery was supposed to be today 5/29…read more10:30-2:30pm. We came here from NJ to Tuscaloosa, AL to buy these for our daughter who graduated and these were a gift for her new home. Text came that it was out for delivery, then got a text that delivery is to be rescheduled. No explanation. The manager from store (Amy) helped as much as she could with Amber who works in the store. Got a call from delivery company (Talbit) who said the washer and dryer did NOT get on the truck. Well the manager Amy said she was told the driver attempted to deliver and no one home. LIE.. Who do I believe? Amy canceled the order and was able to give us an in-store stock appliances which was more $$, gave us a discount and parts to install. We still ended up paying MORE. Order H0877-272113. I was looking for better restitution for this order. We had to haul appliances to house, unload and install vs. delivery and Home Depot install. I called customer service line, spoke to 6 people such as Diego and Miss Gloria. Each person said we cannot help you, you need to speak to another person. Why do we as the customer have to speak to MANY people and still get no further assistance. I will be writing multiple reviews about our experience. Anything we have bought from the NJ locations, we NEVER had any issues. We have lost confidence in the customer service system. Amy, Amber and other gentleman in the store have been the only Home Depot employees who wanted to assist and gave us a better customer service experience. Thanks to them.
