Mishandled the purchase of my investment property.
Handled my off-the-plan development purchase poorly. Receiving sub-standard service after the property was not to be completed on time. These people made every effort not to contact me. I should never have purchased it from them but I was fooled by their online marketing, it really looked professional and promising and when you hear an Australian accent returning your call, you feel comfortable and content that they would have your back. Well, do not be fooled. The director/owner of PT Kamuran Deggin portrays himself as a real nice person but the crux of it is they just want their commission from the developer. They couldn't care less what happens to the project they sold you and even he became unreachable when I expressed my disappointment via text.
PT claimed that they only did business with reputable developers but they themselves have no accountability or responsibility. PT will get the deal happening, no problem, they'll take you around show you some properties but disappear or go into hiding when things go wrong.
I'm still waiting for completion of an apartment studio I purchased into as an investment which should have been completed back in June/July 2019. When I travelled to Turkey to obtain the Title Deed, I returned empty handed. We went to see the developer who was conveniently not there. Left high and dry, I received an email from the developer while I was in Turkey stating they would be actioning the sunset clause in the contract and that the project would be delayed. I was planning on fixing the interior and then renting it out.
I left Turkey one month earlier that planned because there was nothing to be there for. Every time I spoke to Nez the agent who introduced me to this project originally he would give me a different completion date. The property now, hearing it from the developer is now set for completion in June 2020 which makes it ONE year late. It's has been over the 6 months and now, beyond being a joke. My loss in terms of time off work, money, energy and trust is great and feelings of anxiety is nearly every day. It does not look promising to see the people you signed the contract with have left the agency and developer. As you can appreciate the level of discomfort in hearing this.
Positive reviews and likes written by their own staff? Can we trust the other reviews? This should speak volumes. I will not divulge, the name of the developer yet. This was my experience just be 'careful' as the Property Turkey warns the public about other dodgy operators in their video clips. Could they just be bunch of twits or is it just the few that I've been dealing with? This was my experience. read more
