Proper Pruning Service of Murphys California is a civic minded organization with competent employees and good work ethic. They recently completed tree removal at the Douglas Flat Schoolhouse, a historic building near Murphys California in Northern California. The Schoolhouse is a community meeting hall for local organizations run by the Douglas Flat Community Center, a non-profit organization. Proper Pruning donated their efforts to remove large trees in the path of construction and blocking the view of our historic building from Main Street. Unreliable! Said he would come out that same day to look at trees. I was impressed. Then he did not show up...no phone call, nothing. I called the next day to offer another time as he apparently was detained and he could come by or call anytime that day.... I have never heard back from him! read more

We had Chris come out to remove several dead trees on our property and neighbors. Obviously these guys are very busy with the dead tree removal in Arnold, but patience paid off! The workers were efficient, friendly and very neat. One would never have known they were there afterward! Also, Chris gave us a very fair price to have the work done. I would highly recommend Chris and his crew! I'm giving four stars because I did have to sit tight to get on their busy schedule! read more
