    Salmon Teriyaki Hot Plate
    Stephanie Y.

Healthy quick food on the go. Food is premade and can be heated up. Very fast process overall and staff are kind. There are a variety of different flavors such as many preparations of salmon. My salmon was a bit overcooked and too salty for my liking but I can see how this is appealing amidst a variety of fast food. Place itself is quite clean and great for a quick grab and go lunch if you're in a rush!

Coconut-Lime Cauliflower Salad. Mixed plants with crisp, no meat. Cauliflower tastes like coconut and gave salad some flavor

The salad was good, along with my fruit cup was good. I enjoyed it even tho it had no meat. While I was eating all I could think was wow this is healthy plant based salad with some sort of peanut butter dressing (crisps on the side)

This place is a great concept with excellent food. Wish that there was a location near me in Los Angeles, California because I have not seem anything like it. For breakfast I had the Brown Hard Boiled Eggs and Coconut Juice. I have never had better tasting eggs ever. I eat hard boiled eggs most mornings and spend a good amount of money on my eggs, but they never have tasted as good as the eggs here. ($1.00 per egg) For dinner I had the Salmon Teriyaki with Brown Rice, Broccoli, and Snap Peas: ($16.00) Excellent. You will not have better in some fine dining restaurants. The woman working here offered to warm it for me and it was the best. She has a large Oven that reads out "Salmon" when it is warming and it was heated perfect. They are not opened on Weekends. But if you are near here during the work week--this a great choice for fast Lunch at the office, dinner on the way home, meal on the way to the airport, fast meal on the way to a Broadway show, or dining in a hotel alone. I wish them the best--great concept. --- I ask the hard questions that some Yelpers like too know from the staff: All the food is prepared in a commissary in Brooklyn everyday fresh and trucked in to their Manhattan Stores before the open except a few things like the Juices and Bars that have a longer shelf life. They donate or throw out all the unsold meals at closing.

Coconut Curry Chicken Hot Plate - AVOID
    Matthew D.

Ordered the coconut chicken curry as it was dairy-free. I'm sorry to say but the chicken is absolutely inedible. It's like biting into rubber. I don't know if it's some kind of reformed processed chicken - but this is absolutely not a chicken breast taken straight from the bird. It's stringy and almost crunchy. I had to eat the rice/broccoli and toss the rest. Avoid the chicken items.

They were out of what I pre-ordered and the new salad they gave me had a bug in it and the staff would not give me a new meal

where is the avocado, tomatillo salsa and meat in this Chiquito breakfast burrito with steak???

I got the market salad with grilled chicken which was very filling and packed with flavor. The grilled chicken was an add on so cost a little bit more than $25 but still an amazing deal. 10/10 recommend!

Think vintage wallpaper, little knick-knacks, and warm lighting. It's got character. I ordered the market salad with mixed greens, honeycrisp apples, goat cheese, candied pecans, and sherry vinaigrette. It was a hearty portion - super fresh and flavorful, and honestly more than I could finish (not a complaint!). I also ordered a Diet Pepsi with grenadine; they don't carry Diet Coke, which I almost docked a point for, but the mix was unexpectedly delicious. Highly recommend it. My date ordered the hanger steak and said it was absolutely amazing. Only hiccup: his first glass of wine he got came out hot... like, microwave-level warm. Fortunately, the server brought a new (cold) one and the rest of the meal was smooth sailing. Service was friendly, the vibe was homey and relaxed, and the food was solid across the board. Would definitely come back, especially for that salad and another round of grenadine magic.

After a weekend of rich, indulgent meals, we were looking for something a little more…read morestraightforward and comforting. We also wanted to try a classic pastrami on rye--but without committing to the long lines at Katz's Delicatessen. Sarge's ended up being the perfect alternative, just a quick five-minute walk from our hotel. We arrived around 5:00 pm on a Sunday and were seated right away, which already felt like a win. The meal started with coleslaw and both a half sour and full sour pickle--such a classic deli touch, and a great way to kick things off. I ordered the half sandwich with matzah ball soup, and the portion sizes were no joke. The soup alone could have been a full meal: a huge bowl with an equally massive matzah ball. The broth was warm and soothing, and the matzah ball was incredibly light with a perfect texture. The half pastrami on rye was just as impressive. Even "half" was stacked high with flavorful, tender pastrami. Adding a bit of mustard from the table brought everything together--it was simple, classic, and exactly what I was hoping for. Not only was it one of the more reasonably priced meals of the trip, but it was also genuinely satisfying. If you're looking for a no-fuss, traditional deli experience without the wait, Sarge's is a great option.

Service was so bad she deserved no tip whatsoever. On top of that, the food was overpriced and nowhere near worth the attitude. If you want REAL deli quality, good portions, and professional service, save yourself the frustration and go to Katz's instead. Night and day difference in both food and customer service.
