I have called both my insurance company and Quest multple times about the issue and have been assured it has been taken care of and I owe nothing. Yet, Quest sent a bill to a debt collection company. This company constantly calls trying to collect a ''debt'' I clearly have been told by Quest and my insurance company I don't owe. This has been going on for over a year. I will never allow any of my lab work to be sent to them again. Period. It's harassment on Quest Diagnostics part.

The lab may be OK but the billing is absolutely terrible. They sent my wife a bill, who has two…read moreinsurances, for lab work. She called them and said she will pay whatever the other two insurances don't pay and after she receives her EOB's. To date has never received and EOB because Quest never billed the insurances. She called a second time and said they would. We then waited a month or so and only received bills and no EOB's. Then recently we received the threatening letter that she was being sent to collections. I then paid the bill under protest to avoid any credit issues with her near perfect score. Also the plan administrator has gotten involved and had to demand they send a bill to them. It took a month and then was sent and on July 15th the Insurance paid the bill. When she called Quest 3 1/2 weeks later they stated they never received the insurance check which the administrator stated was cashed. I could go on! Just avoid this totally unprofessional business.

AS A RESULT - it is now too late to refile with some insurance companies as I have found out if it was not taken care of properly at the time of the service - I would still use them, but PLEASE make sure they file the billing with insurance on a timely and correct manner!

This medical group is 10 out of 10 Excellent. Phenomenal…read moredoctors! Really knowledgeable and personable. The office personnel are pleasant, efficient, and pleasant(always smiling.) I am always impressed by how personable and caring they are. Lab services, pharmacy and radiology(c-ray, CT, MRI) are right in the premises. There is also an outpatient surgery facility. They also post the prices of those departments and the prices are LOWER than having the same thing done at local hospitals. There are 3 buildings at Secor Road location, connected by hallways. The buildings are not new but they are maintained. There are large parking areas around each building, and they recently added a free valet parking service for impaired patients who need to exit right at the door of a building. I plan to go here whenever possible for my medical care.

It's absolutely amazing that they are able to be so consistently bad when it comes to wait times. If there were an award for amount of time clinics make people wait Toledo Clinic would win hands down every time. It's so frustrating. When I make an appointment for 11:30 I expect to at least be in the doctors office waiting, but no I'm stuck waiting in the main waiting room. Nobody ever has any answer or reason why people wait extraordinary amounts of time either.
