Live music, big ass beers (or half ass), mixed drinks. Bartender served us fast and was friendly. Wish I knew they had a rooftop bar when we went here. Next time....

Came here to with my little sis to enjoy a night out on bourbon street and while we initially came in to escape the rain we stayed for the party. The DJ had the place jumping and it was a vibe. There were multiple bachelor and bachelorette parties there enjoy themselves and providing some people watching entertainment lol. They also offer some HUGE ASS BEERS of various sizes. Some with nice assets as well, check my pic. If in town a great place to stop for a vibe and Turnup

Great blues band!

The Danny Alexander Blues Band was playing as we walked by - so very happy we stopped. Amazing music, danced the whole time we were there, just couldn't keep still. And 2 beers for $11 - such a deal! Very friendly staff. Will be back

Located smack dab in the middle of Bourbon Street is this bar/dinky dance club. I can't speak for the dance floor/club aspect of it. Although I can tell you that they blast the sh*t out of that music. Like I could barely hear myself think much less talk. We were walking around and just checking everything out in general when these guys walked by with these obscenely ginormous bottles of beer marked.. Huge Ass Beers. Sold! lol I walk up to the counter at the side of the bar and order. 70 ounce beer for $26. lol The options were Miller Lite or Bud Light. Service was ok. Don't expect much. lol Prices reflect the touristy nature of where you are at, so I can live with it. It is what it is and in my book that's.. A-Ok. 3 stars.

This has to be one of my favorite bars in New Orleans on Bourbon. They play a variety of music and have a full bar. Everytime I come in here people are always dancing. There is no cover charge and sometimes have 2 for 1 beers.

We came here on a Thursday night after our cruise arrived in port. Day service was great. Bartender big smile and very eager to help. Great live music! Decided to go back to the room for a little relaxation so we were well prepared for a night of drinking, dancing, and fun! We stopped in and had the same bartender...super nice! Danced for a long while and spent some good money. Decided to walk upstairs and it was not a good or fun experience. Dj was playing so we wanted to step out on the balcony. NO! NOT WITHOUT A DRINK IN HAND! What? We just had been drinking shots on the lower level! Oh well...Let's just dance to the DJ...sorry, you can't dance right here. MOVE! No! We are outta here! Spent $$ on drinks. Had a great buzz and was really enjoying our time. WHAT A FUN SUCKER!! We left and didn't return.

If you like strong drinks, BIG BEERSS! this is the place to go. The big beer was $35 and it's about 6-7 beers which is a really good deal.

The upstairs portion had the best music we could find on Bourbon street and a great vibe! The balcony was pretty cool as well.

The bar downstairs serves BYOB alcohol and considering how many people there were at the bar I was really amazed how they were able to keep track of everybody's alcohol! The host was super nice and showed us around. Everything looked and smelled clean. The clientele here was better than expected, and everybody was super respectful! I would definitely go back if I'm in the area!

Adult review…read more.... I've been an active swinger since I turned eighteen. My eighteenth birthday party started at an all nude strip club, I even danced that night and got a job there, then to swingers club. That night was epic and forever burned into my brain as a great birthday. I attended this club with a couple I met in New Orleans on Swingers Date Club. (SDC). It's a private club and there is always some paperwork and fees involved. My dates handled most of this. I really enjoyed the layout and the atmosphere was highly sexual and festive. Everyone was having a great time. It was byob so if you go, take your own alcohol. Mixers like soda etc were provided. We spent the evening getting to know one another in-between playtime. Playtime I really enjoyed. As did my beautiful wife. I wish I could go into more detail but Yelp is a PG rated forum. Needless to say, I had my fair share of men and women that night. I highly recommend this lifestyle club. I walked there from my hotel in ten minutes. It was much harder to walk home. Lololol

I checked out Beach on Bourbon, and honestly... it was just okay…read more The biggest downside was definitely the drinks--they're pretty overpriced, and they don't put much liquor in them, so they don't really hit like you'd expect for what you're paying. It felt more like you're paying for the location than the quality. The vibe is hit or miss. Sometimes they play really good music, and when they do, it's fun--especially since it's packed with college kids and has that typical Bourbon Street energy. But other times it just doesn't stand out much compared to other spots nearby. Overall, it's not terrible, but it's definitely not the best place on Bourbon. I'd say it's worth stopping by once, but I probably wouldn't go out of my way to go back.

The first night someone threw up a massive amount of yuck all over the floor. Literally no one came to clean it up. Waa here for like 15 minutes and left after that. Second night I only went here to meet up with my sons who were there. Was literally at this jenky place for around 20 minutes total and had my wallet snatched right out of my purse that was held close, directly under my arm the entire time. Owners could care LESS about any of this. Police said this happens way too often at this bar. STAY FAR FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!

On a previous trip we had seen an evening show at Snug Harbor and wanted to experience something else. We had read good things about the Spotted Cat and their sets run all afternoon. We were a little confused about price because one of our guidebooks said there is no cover but you're supposed to order drinks. There was a doorman who charged us something like $5 each (still cheap!) and we ordered beer and a N/A drink at the bar and listened to a great jazz group playing old-time jazz. Interior is tiny and you're pretty close to the performers. We were standing at first but eventually found some seats as people left. There is even a back courtyard if you want to be outside, although I don't know if you can hear the music or not. We bought a CD from the band and enjoyed it when we got back home. All in all, a great New Orleans experience.

The vibe is divey with some tables and the stage with musicians is near the front. The music was great and musicians very talented. Drinks were fine and came out quickly. Overall had a nice time enjoying the music!
