1 Star because I had to put something. I requested a replacement or repair of the lid on my trash bin after their guys broke one side of the lid off. I was told they'd look into it. That was September or October last year. Last week they broke the other side so the lid was totally detached. Today, they just took the lid and left an open, lidless, container! Terrible, terrible, terrible! I'm so disgusted with these folks!!! read more

What a disgrace of a company, unfortunately the lowest rating I could give them was a 1 Star. I have been living in this house for 20 years and the ramelli's have never once bothered to change my our dumpsters when we have been calling them for years. Every time we called them, the lady that picks up the phone keeps saying " you're on the list" and immediately hangs up the phone which is a very rude thing to do. Keep in mind we pay monthly fees to ramellis trash service and it's in their contract that they are supposed to provide citizens with new dumpsters whenever the old one gets broken but they don't want to give us a new dumpster because all the white peoples living around my neighborhood all have new dumpsters except for us. I wonder why, it's like we are being discriminated.. After years of waiting, we got fed up and bought our new 96 gallon trash can from Lowe's for 109 bucks. Screw this company. read more

It was trash collection day and they came with the claw truck. The guy (which I have video footage of) broke the wheels off of my can completely. Now I have to drag the heavy trash out for them to collect. Each time I can for a new can I am told (in a very nasty way) it's on order, or they need more time. They have a very nasty attitude especially for this being a service paid for. This last time I called after waiting a month and being told to weeks ago it would've been resolved, now the excuse is they are waiting for a shipment of new cans. This is a new excuse since I have been told for a month that I was guaranteed the new can. Again this is a paid for service. I asked to speak to a supervisor since it had been so long and was told, "they are out in the field and would have to call me back to expedite the situation". So I asked if they would do that and I haven't received a phone call. This is extremely disheartening especially when you're not physically able to drag the heavy garbage can to the street. I just don't know where to go from here nothing is working in my favor. You should feel ashamed of yourself progressive waste management really!!! read more

Name has changed to Waste Connections but they are still the most incompetent company I've ever used. We are locked into a five-year contract for my condo building and pay a rate equivalent to 7 times that of a single home in NOLA but they provide no service. Because there are cars parked on my side of the street, they drive right by. I called the other day because nobody had picked up for two weeks so the lady said they would come the next day but they didn't, nor did they come today, our scheduled day. Our two small cans were stolen and they gave us one larger one because they no longer stock the small ones, and the salesman tried to make us sign a new five-year contract. read more

Find another garbage company! One with ethics. The garbage collectors dumped glass, nails and other debris from the green cans on my street from my neighbors garbage cans down the middle of my st for ten houses down . It was dark outside . I pulled around the garbage truck and blew out my rim and tire on my cycle . I have been in contact with mrs . Mott for three weeks now. I was given three different excuses why they would not pay for the damages. The last excuse was a road hazard on my own dime to repair. They have been giving me the run around for weeks. I saw them dump and spill the debris. When confronted and pics taken they swept up the houses debris and continued on their route. This company is lacking business ethics and morals! read more

This company is useless for trash pickup. Many times they do not come on the scheduled pickup day in Jefferson Parish. When you call the office you are told that they will have a truck out within 24 hours. This is unacceptable when trash and smelly stuff has sat in the can for several days. When they do pick up on my block they do not drive with the flow of traffic, they pick up on the side street and then back up for my entire block which is dangerous to children and residents of the block. They never put your trash can back in the area where they picked it up from. It is usually half way down the block. It's a shame that Jefferson Parish can't find another company to collect the trash with ethics especially with the amount of cost that the residents have to pay for this and other parish services (some of which they don't even use). They have been reported to the parish council office on several occasions and the parish continues to use their service. Unbelievable............ read more
