I've had this service for a few years. They've been known to increase their billing 'silently,'…read morediscretely indicating a service fee change almost 'hidden' on their statements. Read them carefully.... Today in my statement, an inserted filer read "Let's Get Moving....Are you moving? We can help with that. Call today to transfer your Spectrum services and we'll have everything connected so you can feel right at home." So, I phoned to announce my upcoming move. I was told "Unfortunately, we can't help you." But what of your flier? "We don't provide service to your new residence." Another case of promises and lies.

Spectrum was just installed last week. I'm receiving 200 Mb download speeds with a 20 Mb upload…read morethat's sustained right around those speeds throughout the entire day! I game on my Xbox one quite regularly so all the nerdy stuff matters to me. Not a whole lot of channel lag while surfing the cable side either. The DVR box provided doesn't even show non-HD channels so I don't have to parse through hundreds of channels I'll never use. I must say the amount of channels is staggering though and as soon as I find out how to pair that down and remove channels from my view, this service will literally be perfect. The installer named Jack was incredibly accommodating; letting us pick the install location near the mantle of our fireplace. He even had the wherewithal to suggest we lower the cable outlet install in order to be hidden by the mantle. So far I'm thrilled! Def not Time Warner

We are so disappointed in the service we receive from Spectrum and are currently looking into other…read moreoptions. We've already dumped the tv services and chose direct tv. We also have several add on apps we like ( Netflix, Showtime, Disney). There are many ways to get great deals on the add on services, and just need to make the break from Spectrum internet. Mainly because several times a day it will not provide the 5G service and we have to restart the modem & router. They've come several times and claim our equipment in the house, is the best they have. After many techs couldn't fix it, they actually sent the Quality assurance person who told us the truth. We're at the end of wherever their fiber network ends in our area , meaning in easiest terms, their equipment is outdated and they can't get the okay to fix it. The problem is outside and throughout my neighborhood and we, being at the end, get the leftovers of what our multi- tech neighbors are using. I'm not sure if another service provider can help. All I know is we pay only for internet and it works like the old AOL log-on. You know, where you wait and wait for service that never works consistently. Hopefully none of you are experiencing the same!

I have had Spectrum for about two months. I had an outage a few weeks ago but it came back shortly…read more They provided updates and information as the outage progressed. But this most recent outage has been already ongoing for almost 3 days and no updates given. I reached out to agents through phone and chat and no one has any information for a seemingly major outage. All they can do is just say I will get credit, which only compensates for time missed, but still I have to work around the large inconvenience of not being able to access internet for almost 3 days and no hope to get internet back any time soon. And the credits don't feel adequate for the extended period of no service. As an extreme example, if my service is down for the whole month, my bill becomes 0, am I expected to be okay with that outcome because I'm "not paying for the down service"? How is that okay? Overall terrible experience leaving me in the dark and not satisfied about the service at all.
