I insisted that they recheck them again, and they called back, noting that the tires were indeed ruined due to poor alignment. They later admitted that they often do not check alignment when putting on new tires. My alignment was obviously out when they put on my new tires but didn't check. I will take my business elsewhere.

The first shop told me I needed new CV shafts and brakes -- a repair that would have cost me hundreds of dollars and a major delay, which was a huge setback for a broke college student. Thankfully, I decided to get a second opinion here. They put my car on the lift, quickly found that it was just a bent bracket, and fixed it right away -- for free. I couldn't believe it.
