I brought a curio cabinet door that was damaged during a move to Berger's refinishing. I felt…read morewelcomed into the shop to bring my piece in and have Tracey look at it. He was able to patch the door frame from 4 pieces back into one and it looks great- Better than it did before, actually. It used to have brackets holding a few pieces together, leading me believe it had been damaged before. I needed a replacement piece of curved glass as the original was shattered in the move. While the door frame only took maybe 2-3 weeks for completion, I gave Tracey a few months to search for a curved glass manufacturer. One person he thought may have been able to ended up not being able to and he was unable to find anyone else in the local area to do it which is absolutely at no fault of his own. I was able to find a specialty glass manufacturer who does replacement curved glass for curio cabinets in FL so it all worked out. It was reasonable pricing for the door frame repair with a good turnaround time. If I ever have damaged furniture I would bring it back to Berger's in a heartbeat.

That alone should let you know how we feel about their superior work and professionalism. For this project we wanted to install hardwood floors in our living room and upstairs landing. We just wanted to tie all the rooms together since Dave's did another job about a year ago. Everything is simple from the quote, demolition, installation and sanding to the finish. Communication is great and you always know where they are in the progress. Absolutely no surprises is the 3 times we have used them. Kelly did our second job and we requested him to do this job too. He is the absolute best. A perfectionist and super cool guy. Another awesome job by Dave's Flooring and the only flooring company I recommend to my friends.

I paid for 3 coats of poly and an additional "radcoat" supposedly to make the floors more durable…read more They sanded down the middle, did not do the corners or edges at all. After I complained they scraped off the poly and somewhat fixed the corners. Not great, but better. Applied one more coat and then the final coat so I got one less coat then I paid for. First time they left the doors unlocked, second time they left them not only unlocked but wide open in sub zero weather. The house was vacant so I guess they thought that was ok. When I asked them about it they said it was hard to lock old doors and hard to make old floors look good. I thought that was what they did? It was a 1940's house so not ancient. They have every excuse in the book ready when you call to complain. Not the same floor company I used to get for all my rehabs. Very sub par work which it appears to be from a variety of sub contractors. Sad that what was once a good business is now just a scam operation cutting corners whenever they can. With little room for error on this type of flooring, I appreciated his clear approach -- there's no "undo" button with refinishing! He provided a consultation for my indoor floors, but then I had him also look at my garage floor and he said he was able to do the work I was looking for, which is what I will be reviewing here today. I had a few cracks in my garage floor and was looking to Epoxy it to protect it for the winter. Dave explained to me his process and how it differs from the competition which helps keep his cost low. The best part about Dave was that he stuck to the quote he gave me, with no surprises or additional ask for money, and he started when he said he would, got the job done quick, and finished when he said he would - anyone who has worked with contractors before knows this is a rarity! Dave was respectful and treated the place with care, and I would recommend his work to others. We think the garage looks great! Jason has been painting my friend's houses and my house for years now! The most recent job was a…read moreredo of my bathroom, which had not been painted in 18 years, way before my time working with Jason and Pro Painters. There was caulk along the border between the wall and the tile that had to be scraped off before it could be painted and look at how clean the line is now! I love fun colors and with something this bright it's important that every angle be clean otherwise any mistakes are glaringly obvious. You can see how nicely everything was cut in and they always do such a great job protecting things that are not being painted and then cleaning up afterwards. They were very serious about my request to match the unusual main color of my house, and although they thought it wasn't perfect, I can't tell the difference! I got multiple bids which were about the same amount, but what intrigued me was their offer for affordable touch-ups over the years.
