5 stars for great, hearty salads in a convenient location…read more King Street has tons of sit down restaurants, but when I was in need of a quick, healthy lunch to take on the go, Yelp led me to Verde. I opted for the mesa verde thanks to many great reviews about it. It consists of romaine lettuce, cilantro, black beans, chicken, tomatoes, red onions, corn, tortilla strips, and I subbed in a lemon tahini dressing. I also got a kombucha to-go, but they had plenty of other great canned drinks including Poppi. I didn't eat there as I was planning to cowork at my hotel, but everything was packed well and traveled well. Overall, a solid lunch option for people on the go!

When I arrived to pick up mine, the one person there was sitting on the counter, which I found a little dubious (near the cash register, not in a food prep area). My salad was nonetheless resplendent, both in appearance and in substance. Ample options were offered, and mixing fruit with basil for flavor and adding a black bean burger to my greens to fill me up gave me a salad that took two sittings to finish. Ordering a hard to find local tea from their marketplace wasn't a bad decision either. There is a little room here to sit in, but this outlet is clearly geared towards takeout, and it is quality stuff.

First time to Charleston and so glad we made it into town before heading to Kiawah. The area is…read morefull of amazing history and buildings with so many stories to tell. We were greeted by a kind hostess before entering the restaurant. We quickly had a table available and were able to enjoy the fun atmosphere. There's an oyster location map painted on the brick wall helping identify where they come from. We started with three small plates including the oven roasted oysters, crude plate (shrimp and scallops) and the tuna tataki. All were outstanding but the oysters were a table favorite. For a main dish I chose the oyster po boy which was on a toasted roll and some spicy sauce. It was outstanding. The margarita was a perfect addition to the meal. I highly recommend grabbing a slice of Charleston right here at 167 Raw if you are in town.

The interior is nautical, spacious, and provided good mood lighting. Our server was extremely knowledgeable about the menu and attentive throughout the meal. Their daily specials are written on boards on the wall. I was able to try the hamachi crudo and halibut ceviche. The ceviche was refreshing, citrusy and the chips were phenomenal. For entrees, I tried the famous tuna burger which lived up to the hype. The two showstoppers had to be the scallops and romesco potatoes (side dish). I'll definitely be back!

Traveling for work and was looking for good New Orleans cooking, I found it here…read more I stopped for lunch, got hear right as the doors opened and the place was full by the time we got our drinks, good sign. Service was friendly and attentive, good atmosphere. The food only topped off the good first impression. For appetizers we got gator bites ( seasoning was so good they didn't even need sauce) second was the Andui and shrimp Mac & Cheese (amazing) I could have just eaten these and been satisfied. The shrimp and crayfish porboy was large and tasted so good, man the seasoning on the fries was so good. The batter on the fish was amazing as well. We left with food to spare and already planning on what we will get next time we're in town. And only 15min from the airport. Great job Lola!!

The crawfish was cooked well and had great flavor. The only thing we noticed was they were a bit juicy--we think they may not have soaked in the boil as long, which usually helps absorb more flavor. My husband really enjoyed them (this trip was mostly for him!), but they were a little spicy for me. I ended up getting a Caesar salad with fried crawfish tails instead, and it was huge--I only made it through about half. We also got margaritas during happy hour--both were really good. I had the lychee margarita, and my husband got the mango with a Cajun rim. Service was very good--our waiter was attentive and friendly. The only small downside was that we did feel a little rushed. It does say on the menu that they ask guests not to stay longer than 1.5 hours, so just something to keep in mind. They are pet-friendly, and we sat outside. There was plenty of outdoor seating, and the tables had umbrellas, which was nice. The only other thing we weren't thrilled about was the credit card surcharge--it was around 3-3.5%, which feels a bit high, especially since most people don't carry cash anymore. Overall, a great spot--especially if you're a crawfish fan!
