This is an old school barber shop that also has the stylists to do long fancy woman's stuff, shampoos etc. I loved the vibe. I needed two and a half months of neglect chopped off, and I have difficult, cowlicky hair. The gentleman took his time, and did a great job! This is a cash only shop, and a haircut is only $14. I gave them $30, since they've lost 2 months of income during the lock down. My new favorite haircut place, in my new favorite town.

He was there for a head shave & beard trim & unfortunately the female that attempted to do this needs to go back to barber school. There were more stray hairs left on his head that you would have thought a student had done it for the first time. His beard looks like it was hacked at too. It's now extremely uneven & choppy looking. Needless to say we had to buy a pair of clippers to help reshape his beard & clean up his head. Lesson learned we should have just bought the clippers in the first place & saved the money from the barber shop.

I went in after clarifying I had this appointment set for over a month. I got there and the owner was unorganized with other clients as well. I asked for a bob cut, and she tried to tell me I was booked for color. I asked for a little weight off the bottom, no layers. She gave me the choppiest thick layers that are impossible to style. When the light hits it, my hair looks completely botched. She wasn't friendly with me, and didn't receive my criticisms well. It's my hair! I wouldn't recommend at all. I'd rather drive to the valley than ever come here again. My hair is ruined and I will be wearing it up until I can cut it to the length of the shortest layer she gave me. Above and beyond DISAPPOINTED.

This was my every month regular basis barbershop.. Read my response and you'll get the gist of what…read morehappened last time I was getting a haircut. One of the guys that works at the barbershop almost hit my Corvette that was parked in front of the shop in the handicap parking area (the right side of my body is paralyzed , I had a aneurysm in my brain 10 years ago) me and my barber watched through the front window as the others barber was trying to park his jeep in the parking spot right next to where my car was parked. He was having a hard time with parking his car that day. We watched him almost hit my corvette that was backed in and parked perfectly in front of the shop in the handicap parking spot. He missed my car by less than a 1/8th of a inch-ish or closer. He then he put it in reverse to fix it and almost clipped my car again, I said to myself "sheesh! If he had hit my parked car I would've killed him!" I didn't mean that I was actually going to try to harm him lol ..a common thing people say right? A common expression right? ..I paid for my haircut and walked out to my car to drive home.. I waved goodbye to the guy sitting in front of the window and he came up to the car window and motioned for me to roll the window down. So I did and he said "man to man..why did you threaten to take my life!?" Getting up in my face..obviously trying to get tough/intimidate me. I said "what? I didn't threaten to take anyone's life..what are you talking about? I'm confused.." he replied Edwardo told me that he head you were saying that you were going to kill me! I have kids!" I said."no no no..I was watching you struggle to get your car parked while I was getting my hair cut and I was talking quietly to myself when I saw you get super close to clipping my parked car twice.. I didn't know you were going to take it so literally sir i apologize." Then I received this text message

Five Stars for Kelly at Payson Day Spa! I have not found a…read moretruly great hairdresser in over 30 years. For the last decade, I've bounced between doing my own hair and trying new stylists, always walking away disappointed... until now. What a blessing that someone here in Payson recommended I see Kelly Nemire at Payson Day Spa. I made an appointment, and I am still in awe of the transformation. Kelly is incredibly skilled. She knew exactly what my hair needed the moment she saw it. She wove three different colors through my hair, and the result is the most natural, dimensional color I've had in decades. I honestly couldn't believe how perfect it turned out. She also gave me a trim that completely changed the look and feel of my hair--what was limp and bedraggled now looks like it came straight out of a magazine. Everything about my experience with Kelly was exceptional. Her talent, her eye for detail, her professionalism, and her warm personality made the entire appointment a joy. I walked out feeling like a new person. If you're looking for a phenomenal stylist, someone who truly understands hair and delivers results beyond expectations, I wholeheartedly recommend Kelly. You can reach her at 928 238 0351--just ask for Kelly. You will be so glad you did.
