Although everyone is Very pleasant and I always had great customer service there in the past, something has changedt. There's a guy stylist that was there and he always did a great job on my hair. However my recent visit was not a great experience. my haircut came out horrible. Very patchy missed spots and The prices have gone to 22 for a 10 minute hair cut up from 16. Also the decor was hard on the eyes. Someone needs to update the new decor. I probably won't go back. It's a shame. read more

I got my hair cut here on a whim about a month ago and can say they absolutely listened to what I wanted done. I have more choppy/alternative hair that I call a shag mullet mixed with a mohawk and usually people dont know what to do with it. They did an incredible job on my bangs and the layers have grown out wonderfully. I'm actually about to go back in for a touch up! read more

Best salon in town! I don't know where these other reviewers went to get their haircuts, but I love this salon. Every time I go there I am satisfied with my haircut. The stylists are well-trained and the receptionists are friendly. Sometimes, you have to wait a bit since it is on a first come first serve basis, and they can be busy. I usually leave, run a few errands then return when the receptionist calls me. It is convenient and I am always happy with my haircut. read more

So I went in for a cut that I had looked up previously so I know what I wanted, I go in the lady at the desk asks me my name I say Jason she says oh you can have a seat . The (stylist) who is in a sweat suit asks what I came in for so I show her the picture and say just shorter she ok no problem ,proceeded to put the apron around my neck with no paper so I e probably got some other guys sweat seeping into my skin (gross) then proceeds to grab the clippers and shave my head all the way around which is ok so now she grabs the scissors to do the trimming No, she grabbed a bigger setting for the clippers and buzzed the top of my head and only used the scissors to clip my bangs off then back to mini clippers to line me up and she said look at that your done ,Not a happy camper . In and out in under ten minutes and I was the only one there . Please do something about the stylists at this location they need more training, I honestly felt like I was getting a trim from the .................... Since when is it ok for hair "stylists" to have such poor attitudes? The last 2 times I went here both hairdressers seemed so angry and argumentative. I am by no means a difficult customer--all I wanted was a trim to neaten up what I had, and now I have layers on the right side of my head and none on the left. Anyway, the hairdressers seem to be miserable, angry, and I'm pretty sure they hate their lives. You can feel that vibe as soon as you walk in the door. No thanks. read more

Kind of not pleased at how a trim and curl came out to $62? I could have bought myself a new curling iron for what this costed.

I have never had such a terrible experience at a salon. Nor have I ever had to stop someone mid cut. My stylist Mary was more interested in talking to her coworkers than listening to what I wanted. Repeatedly made mistake after mistake the entire visit. Strike one* I walked in asking for a small trim and explained that I was growing my hair out for my upcoming wedding. Specifically that I wanted "as little cut of as possible." The stylist I was directed to cut off almost 4 inches in some areas! (And to get this corrected I'm gonna have to lose more.) My hair grows about a half inch a month, so even without the correction I lost more than 6 months of growth. As soon as I saw how much she was cutting I told it that was not what I asked for, but was told with an attitude "well it looks better this way" as an excuse as to why. She also said she only "cut off a half inch" when I repeated myself. My hair was at he lowest part of my shoulder blades and is now barely past my neck. Obviously she can't uncut it so I just let her continue. Strike 2* I have bangs and said I wanted them trimmed. She cut one side of then and started trying to dry it-I had to ask her to stop and cut the other one. One of my bangs was literally mid cheek and the other at eye level. The excuse this time? "You have cowlick there, so I did that on purpose." It took me asking her and having her recut it 3 times to get it somewhere near even. Strike 3* I asked her to flip out the bottom but to go inward with the top layers while blow drying my hair. She did one side only flipped out and up and I once again said "I didn't ask for that" and requested she correct it. Her reply was "well I already dried that all and your hair naturally goes out that way. You have cowlick." And proceeded to leave that side untouched I asked her to correct-and style the opposite side flipped completely inward. I walked out of this salon looking like a mess and paid almost $50 for it. I will have to go to another salon to try and fix the cut because-surprise! The cut is completely uneven and not at all what I asked for. I've already let my family know that's in the area to avoid the place, and I hope this review will spare a few people from the same experience. I bypassed the bad reviews despite reading tangent beforehand and it was a terrible mistake on my part. I will NEVER be going to any procuts again of this how they treat customers. read more

Super rude employees. I was waiting for a haircut and the stylists were completely disrespectful to an elderly lady getting her haircut. The lady said nicely watch out for my ear, the stylist stepped and said "Do you want someone else to do it?" A stylist next to her said I never have trouble with "it" I don't know why you are. Never again going back to ProCuts in middleboro unless I can have Rose and nobody else. read more

I am not the person who posts negative reviews about a business...typically if something turns me off about a place I just dont return...but in this case it has to be said...I get wash and blow outs(that's a hair thing in case you are wondering) I get them once a week in between my scheduled appointments with my beloved hairdresser who is fantastic and makes me look great...I always say I get compliments on my hair fairly regularly and that is the truth...the weekly blow outs make it easier for me as I dont have to do anything to my hair on a daily basis...saves me a lot of precious morning time...anyway point is I have had this service done in many many salons but yesterday was just awful...being that I was going to a friends house in Lakeville I decided to try ProCuts at the Trucchis plaza in Middleboro...I have been to a ProCuts before in Bridgewater and have been to other similar type businesses like Hair Cuttery...they are open daily and give a good service typically...the stylist I had..dont know her name..first of all she stunk of cigarettes...strike frigging one..why would I want to pay to have someone wash my hair that stinks of butts?? The hair washing experience is usually something I enjoy...umm...not this time...very aggressive...showering my face with water, her bracelets clanging on the sink...I mean really?..then we get started in her chair..she asks zero questions about how I would like my hair done, where I like my part etc...just goes for it..ok...that's fine too...here it comes...she says to me...did u have your foils done here??? No..I have a hair stylist in Holbrook...she says oh...and I said why...she says well they aren't done very well...they look unfinished and there is lots of different colors to your hair..I am thinking..ok..then she waits a few minutes and then she says something I didnt understand ...she was asking me if I had box color on my hair and that's the reason my regular stylist was attempting to correct it...and through this whole discussion she is extremely judgy...making it seem like I am a mess...its like are you kidding me???? What would possess someone to insult a client that is in their chair...then she goes on to finish the job...and of course praise herself for how it looks...it wasnt the worse blow out I have ever had but certainly far from the best...kicker is she charged me $28..Hair Cuttery charges $17 for the same service as an example so this was way out of bounds...thats also more than a regular nice salon would charge....I honestly usually tip $10 for this service...left her $5 and will never return and I am here to put her on blast and hopefully make ProCuts aware of the unprofessional stylist they have on staff...she may need to consider another career path...oh and by the way...her hair was a complete disaster...just saying....giving it one star but only because zero isnt an option read more

I really do agree with the other negative ratings. In the past I have had some awful experiences, with stylist complaining how they have to stay late because somebody called out. That was more important than the customer in their chair (me)! I had literally a five minute hair cut! There was no tip! That was a year ago. Recently my daughter had her hair done there and it was beautiful. I took the chance, had a certain look in mind and went to the same person that did my daughters hair. It came out perfect! I have also recommended my other daughter to this same STYLIST, not necessarily the same place and her hair came out AWESOME! I have found my perfect stylist, Tina is GREAT! It's sad that alot of useless stylist ruin it for the ones that really love what they do. I will be going to whatever ProCuts that Tina is at because she is great and loves what she does. Cheap for a reason!!! The horrible hair salon experience I'm talking about took place back in August - just so you know how scarring, haunting, and upset it made me. I went in there WITH A PICTURE and showed the middle-aged lady exactly how short I wanted it to be cut. She looked then asked, "So you want it mid-chest?" And thus I believed we were on the same page because yes - just like in the picture, I wanted my hair cut to mid-chest. I'm not sure where this lady believes her chest to be, but she hacked my hair right up to under my ears with even shorter, choppy layers measuring about 2 inches from my scalp. I could not even hold the tears back. I was crying and mortified that this would happen after confirming exactly what I wanted with her repeated reassurance. She along with her coworkers tried to make me feel better, saying it made me look mature. The lady even said, "It looks like the picture!." I assure you, it looked absolutely nothing like it. My issue here was that I felt so bad for crying in her face, that I payed for this haircut. This ugly, completely botched and horrible haircut that did not remotely resemble what she promised to give me. I even tipped her $10 after she stated "I'm never cutting long hair again." Nobody offered to let me walk out in my despair without taking my money. I should've been offered this disgusting service on-the-house. Now, months later, my hair is still about 4 inches from the length I had asked for. I'm extremely relieved to get this off my chest and into a review because I've resented this half-wit hair dresser every morning I wake up and look in the mirror. read more
