These days in Florida, you almost always have to lawyer up before they'll pay a claim, and then the amount they offered was a joke, like for a small repair...my whole roof needed replacing so we settled on an amount that only cost me $1050 out of pocket. 500 of which was my deductible. The claim was filed back in 2022 before Florida changed their laws, which favors the insurance companies more and screws the consumer. I had to pay $116 for some wood damage, but that was reasonable, in my opinion. Once we got a date for the work to start, they were on time, delivering the dumpster the day before, and hauling it away the day the job was completed, which was only two-day job. Jay Geuder was the contact with whom I dealt with, and he was pleasant to deal with and explained the process, helped with picking the color, etc., and followed up after the job was completed. Blake also followed up the day of, but I was not home from work yet so I couldn't really provide any info about the completion. So, from my experience, they've been a good company to deal with.

They advertised on Facebook and looked like a full service yard company. I signed a contract to have my yard fertilizer, pest, and weed control done by their lawn certified technician. I stipulated that I wanted a summary and action report after each visit. I paid my first month and about 3 or 4 week later called to see when treatment would begin. They said they had fertilized the yard about 5 days earlier. I had been working in my front yard most of that day and I had seen nobody. I was told they had time and GPS data to show the technician had been at the address. There was no offer to check witht he tech or to fix the issue. Just a surly reply that their GPS data showed it had been done. I said I was unhappy and there was no reply so I hung up. I have a doorbell and front driveway cameras. I checked them for that day and I did not see anyone but me and my dogs after 8am. They then wrote a letter stating they had serviced the wrong house but did not offer to make up the missed service. I replied to the email the next email I got was they terminated the contract. Summary: Grounds Guys did not do the work they told me they did. They did not offer to make it right. They unilaterally cancelled the contract. I should have done some research as there are many negative reviews on this non-local company.

10/10 -- Exceptional Service from King of Home Solutions!…read more It was a Tuesday evening when our A/C suddenly stopped working. Our house was already at 80 degrees and climbing! I reached out to King of Home Solutions, and Ryan Zabinsky, the owner, called me back almost immediately. He patiently walked us through a few things to check and, after realizing it was something beyond a simple breaker issue, told us he would come out that evening. What impressed us even more? Ryan was in Ponte Vedra watching his daughter cheer at her school's basketball game, but that didn't stop him from taking care of his customer. He even stopped by his office beforehand to pick up a part, anticipating what the problem might be based on our conversation. When Ryan arrived, it was already dark, and after a huge downpour earlier that afternoon, our backyard was completely soaked and flooded around the A/C unit. None of that deterred him. He was professional, knowledgeable, courteous, and determined to get us back up and running. He found the problem, made the repair, and then stayed an extra 30 minutes to make sure the system continued running properly. With our A/C unit being 10 years old, we honestly thought we were going to have to bite the bullet and purchase a new system. Instead, Ryan provided an honest, fairly priced repair and saved us from an unnecessary expense. That kind of integrity and customer service is hard to find! King of Home Solutions gets a 10/10 from the Burdsall Family! They are responsive, reliable, knowledgeable, honest, fairly priced, and truly care about their customers. You can tell Ryan takes pride in his work and genuinely wants to help people, not just make a sale. We highly recommend King of Home Solutions for A/C, heating, and ventilation needs. They are definitely our go-to company from here on out! Excellent job, Ryan! Thank you for going above and beyond when we needed you most! -- The Burdsall Family
