Well…read moreI was driving to work and when I made a turn, someone's truck in front of me dropped a can of light gray paint on the road and splashed it on my white car. I was so upset because I didn't know how bad it looked until I got home. I tried removing it with alcohol but the paint wouldn't come off. I was also afraid of using a stronger chemical because I di want to strip off the original paint color. I reached out to Marvin on Yelp and he responded quickly. He has many years in the auto detailing industry, so I trust him with this job. His price was reasonable. He showed up promptly to my house and had all his equipments ready in his truck. He went through the process of washing, using clay bar, in addition to waxing and polishing the car. I liked that he was very careful about removing the paint off the plastic parts without causing discoloration. The challenging part was removing the paint from the bumper and behind the tires but he did it! I'm very pleased with the results and I look forward to getting my car detailed interior and exterior with Marvin next time.

WiFi, a nice place to wait indoor, outdoor, sun, shade with a nice shop for affordable cards and gifts. There is also a donut shop, a mini mart and many shops and restaurants across the street. Although they were willing to rush, I let them know I didn't mind waiting and just wanted my car to be clean. My car looked better than new inside and out ! The staff there were friendly and helpful. Because its Zelle there is nothing they can do at my bank outside of reporting a scam. This business is a scam NO NOT TRUST THEM. This started back in Jan 15th and not its May 21 with no refund or PPF wrap. Literally stole my deposit and keeps coming up with excuses.

Where things started to slip was on the pickup side. I was told the car was ready, but still ended up waiting about 30-40 minutes before actually getting it. At checkout, I was also surprised to see a tip screen with suggested amounts that felt pretty high given the service. I ended up leaving a small tip, but the experience itself didn't really match that level of expectation. I also would have appreciated a quick walkthrough of the work that was done--especially at that price point--but it was more of a quick handoff of the keys. I came back for the 10-day follow-up and made a point to ask about timing ahead of time. I was told it would take about an hour. I arrived early, but after an hour the car hadn't been touched yet, and there wasn't any update unless I asked. That part was frustrating. So, they ended up rushing my 10-day follow-up inspection. Gave the car a quick rinse and handed me the keys. What was the point of driving down from Carlsbad??? Over 3 hours wasted. For comparison, I had a great experience at their Kearny Mesa location previously, so I know what they're capable of. This location is stretched thin, which seemed to impact communication and overall service. I was not the only customer in the lobby feeling this way. Given the type of clientele they're working with and the pricing, I was expecting a bit more consistency and attention to detail. Their follow-up consisted of more sales pitches of coupons for services I already had done. Would have been nice to have the discounts PRIOR to the work! I planned on using the wash program and mentioned to Jasmine my poor service experience. Think there was follow-up? Nada. So, thumbs "kind of" up for Ceramic Pro but thumbs down for this location.
