I had to have physical therapy over 2 months after PRP injections in my lower spine. Emily was my physical therapist. She was very professional and caring for the recovery of my back. She did a wonderful job working with me to get my back stronger through the variety of exercises we did in our sessions. Toward the last several weeks she trained me to use the equipment in their gym area so that I could continue to come and do exercises to maintain to keep my back strong. For the health coverage I had, I would pay upfront and file the claim myself. Emily was so gracious to type up and give me the paperwork of her notes for every session. I was very thankful for this. I just finished up with 4 months of PT after surgery for a full shoulder replacement. My wonderful husband researched all the PT options in our area and selected PRO Physical Therapy in Rutherfordton as the best fit for what I needed. The staff is wonderful. My therapist was Steve, along with Matt. Steve made me feel at ease. He greeted me each morning with a big smile. He was both compassionate and professional. Even on the days I didn't feel like I could go through the paces, he got me through it. Some days when I was in more pain, he worked with me and made it better. He and Matt were encouraging throughout the four months and today, after not being able to use my arm for years, I'm back to "normal", doing all the things I enjoy the most. I was seen for severe back/sciatic pain, and also significant weakness and mobility issues. The kind and professional staff functioned as a team that made my progress and success their main focus. I always felt heard, supported, and encouraged, and I was regularly updated on my progress. My treatment plan was tailored to my needs.
