I absolutely love this place! I called in the same day asking if my mom and I can come in at 5 but ended up coming in 30 minutes earlier and they were still willing to accommodate us despite how busy it was. I got acrylic done by Tan and my mom got gel (with designs) nails done by Jasmine. They were both very gentle and the work looks so beautiful! I like how Tan would ask for my approval before moving on to the next thing. At the same time, I enjoyed the whole time talking to him. I ended up paying only $20 for my service and $27 for my mom's. Yelped nearby pedicures on my cellphone and saw that this place was highly rated. Since I was in a hurry, I decided to pop in without reading the reviews first (just went by rating). At first I was suspicious of the place since the pedicure was advertised via a sign as costing only $16.99. I've never had a decent pedicure under $25. They also had other, more time consuming, pedicures to choose from which were not priced much higher (I think the most expensive selection was only $30 and included paraffin). But, since I was pressed for time, I decided to try the $16.99 option and hope that it will suffice. It did. The pedicure took about 30 minutes and my pedicurist, a male who spoke perfect English, did a great job. Other then cutting the toenail on my left toe somewhat crooked, I can't think of anything to complain about . . .O.K., I lied; There's just one SMALL thing: I think the shop's prices attracts people who normally don't get pedicures because I saw some pretty GNARLY feet while I was there. So, although the shop appeared to be very hygienic in their practices, I would probably bring my own tools next time. But that's just me . . . I'm just really scared of other peoples' foot fungus and stuff. So. . . there were plenty OPI nail colors to choose from. The massage chairs were also nice and not worn out (please note that the remote control is hidden in a flip-off compartment in the left-hand arm rest). Will definitely come here again. read more

Kim always take her time with my pedicure. Busy or not. When it is not busy, she spends EXTRA time on my pedicure. Although we have somewhat of an English barrier, she always find something that we can talk about. Not the typical salon where the ladies talk BS with you. I am not a full set type of person but I did get acrylics done by Kim one time and she did such a an amazing job! Very gentle work and made the nails really thin just as how I wanted them. Too bad I didn't take a picture of the full set I had done but I will make sure I do next time so I can post it for the yelpers! The prices are deal and they always have some special going on. They have all the Gelish nail colors if you are into UV gel nails instead of full sets or polish. This is my new favorite nail salon! read more

This is the best nail shop in Elk Grove in my opinion. I say this because price and quality are the most important to me. There are other nail shops in Elk Grove that offer excellent quality nails really quickly but you won't get out of there for less than 59 bucks. This shop will make you wait for 30 minutes some times but they only charge 15 bucks for a full set and Tan does the best 3D art ever! Every nail is a work of art. All of the techs speak good English they are friendly and have a great atmosphere. They also open early on Saturday! Love love love this place read more

Came here for manicure since I could not find place I made appointment. Not very friendly reception, I ask for basic manicure and she keep ask me if I want gel or other high service. I say NO just basic please and she just point at the nail colors....hell I should just left. Finally someone came told me go ti end of store. The lady help me was nice enough and she was quite. I prefer no talking and I was happy enough. She checked her phone few times but I was ok with it. Only thing I did not like was she only did 2 coats polish and I like few more. The only reason I came here was because i seen the sign outside which said "Spa Pedicure 18.99$", I thought "wow that's a good deal!". Well spa pedicure means their basic pedicure, nothing special or spa about it... When we got there we got in the chairs pretty quick, the place was somewhat busy & was getting full fast. The women who did my toes did a good job, no complaints there. Then came the full set, which I believe his name is Tony did. He was rushing so bad to get to other people who walked in that he almost made me bleed twice, then when asked why my nail was crooked he said "that's your finger" .. so this is what I ended up paying 24$ for my full set to look like this & then he was so busy he had me go sit at the dryer for 8min & forgot to put the top coat on & when asked about he rudely got up & put it on quickly & didn't even cover the entire nails. Extremely rude staff and BAD service. First she did my nails standing up which is a bit weird. I asked her to make sure to remove the cuticles and she ignored me and didn't. Then she tried to make conversation and asked: "are you married?" I replied "not yet".... then she goes "why not too busy?!" Ok how about none of your business. Then she painted my nails soooo bad it looked like a child painted my nails. When I asked her to clean it up (YES I had to ask her) she said "they will come off in shower or with time." I then complained to the guy who takes payment and he said I could come back and they will fix it, at this time she is right next to me UPSET saying she can fix it now... I told her "I just asked you to fix it and you didn't." I left upset... I never have gone back to a place to have then re-do a nail job but I paid full price and my nails looked horrible. So I decided to go back- I asked the guy for a different tech and when I go there I had the SAME rude lady. She was not happy to having to re-do her shitty job. Kept slamming the nail tool in the desks and instead of repainting the whole set she chose to only re-do 9 out of 10 fingernails. When she was done she had the balls to say "there painted again- no need to come back" WTF!!! Petty! Horrible! Do NOT recommend this place. Go anywhere but here. Not worth it! read more

Just spent the morning there today getting myself and little girl mani, pedi's. I will never go back again. My gel nails look so thick and have tons of bumps on them. I felt rushed because the owner was more in a hurry about that next customer in, which I had a appt and the other customer did not. The salon really needs to be cleaned. Great place for pedicures. Fantastic massage chairs. I didn't notice their hours and they still gave me a pedicure even though they were closed. Edit: They used to let me sit in the massage chair while my nails dried. The last two times they made me move to the UV light table to dry. I asked if I could stay in the chair he mumbled something about needing the chair. Nobody sat in the chair and about half were empty. I think I get a pedicure for the massage chair and leg massage and not the actual pedicure....lol. I always tip well by the way. read more

So I have to say that after reading most of the reviews on here I decided to give this place a try. I was so skeptical because I usually go to this place on florin but I didnt feel like spending too much. I have been to the La Bou, and Thai place in this lot so many times and have never noticed it but there it is. It has a nice little setup, and the prices are great. First Kim started working on my nails I wanted almond shaped nails with some decorative jewels. She had an appointment so I had to go to Tony. He was very nice and tried to get it to the best shape possible. I am pretty satisfied with them, I paid $20 for the full acrylic set, $3 for the almond shape, and $5 for my jewel design. Not too bad. Pros: Price, speed, and environment. My nail shape turned out really well. Cons: I didnt like that the staff at times were a little distracted they seemed to be scanning the room while working on my nails and that can be a bit irritating. I get that they are busy but they could focus a little more. and I dont think my paint job was done all too well, especially at my cuticles. I am giving them 3 stars and will definitely go there again but I hope to increase the rating once I see if they can redeem their painting skills. :) read more

He switched up the price after glueing them down. Then he said the length I got was long but not even a centimeter long. I had to file them myself because they were crooked. I went to this nail shop yesterday 8-29-18 and requested for Kim to do my nails but she was too busy so she mentioned that Tony does a good job. Boy was it a nightmare. He does a horrible job. He had every excuse to why my nails looked the way they did. Mind you I got a whole new set done by Tony. I am too embarrassed to post pictures because they look that bad and I told him I didn't like them. My nails were all a different length and shape. They have bumps and aren't smooth, the powder looks horrible. The tips he put on do not even fit my nails. I was so upset when I left there. I will never ever go to this place again. I do not recommend Tony at all. Horrible job. Horrible communication skills. read more

I'm very picky, but Kim is so sweet and caring and always does a fantastic job with my nails. Ivy is nothing short of AMAZING with my pedicures. I got gel mani and pedi and they did a great job on the pedi but a TERRIBLE JOB on the mani, they didn't file or shape my nails AT ALL. My nails on each hand didn't even look remotely the same with each nail a different length. Even after she commented on how they were uneven and I said " oh yeah ahah they are but I waited to come here so you could help me shape them haha " and she just laughed and started painting in a hurry. I didn't even have time to look at them because she was painting them so quick and in the light thing I couldn't realize the disaster happening. She didn't push back my cuticles and I admit I could have stopped her but I didn't realize she didn't until the end when she gave me a chance to actually look at them. I then told her that I didn't like them because she didn't push back my cuticles and if she could scrape it off of my cuticles to try and save it so she won't have to do it all over again and she said no. As she continued to put the final coat on I again asked if she could take the polish off my cuticles and she again said no. I then pointed out that they were uneven and there was also a giant lump of nail polish left on my finger and she fixed it by adding more making my nail soooo thick and continued to not fix the shape of my nails. She was very nice but not so nice at doing gel nails. Not the best experience won't come back. read more
