I was in a rush because I bought the steps/pavers and they were being delivered and needed to quickly find a contractor to do the job. I got lucky with Al. He was flexible with the time, brought the manpower and machinery to design and clear the path, add leveling sand and compact it to install the pavers exactly as we wanted them. He gave a fair price, always answered texts / calls and was on time, leaving the job site clean. We will use him again.

He also said he could repair Turf which need refill with sand in some areas, compacting and re gluing, later he said he did not know how to do this and recommended someone else. The job was messy. They forgot to put concrete in some sections. The pavers shifted. Pros that came out to re do the job correctly later told me that this was abusive what the owner had done. I tried to give him an opportunity to come out and fix job and provide partial refund. However he did not. He did not respond to texts or whatsapp or calls. He took my Zelle payments and ran. This is exactly the type of guy that gives other contractors in Miami the bad reputation it is known for. I feel like I was robbed of thousands. Terrible feeling.
