I recently purchased a fully stocked ~100-gallon saltwater aquarium for my office. Having zero experience with saltwater setups, I didn't feel comfortable handling the move on my own. I reached out to about 10 people on Facebook--most took days to respond, and those who did either weren't helpful or didn't have the patience to explain the process to someone new. Isaiah was a different story. He replied to my messages within minutes, gave me a fair estimate to move the tank about 30 miles, and scheduled the move a week in advance. He showed up exactly on time, just as we had agreed. On the day of the move, all I had to do was sit back and watch him and his helper handle everything. They came fully prepared with clean equipment and carried out the job professionally from start to finish. Despite being a young man, Isaiah showed great character and professionalism. He carefully disconnected all the electronics, reinstalled everything, and set up the live rock, corals, and livestock in perfect condition. Unfortunately, one fish didn't make it--but Isaiah had been upfront about that possibility from the start. In fact, he had advised me that starting a new tank might be a better option than moving an established reef, specifically because of that risk. Overall, I'm extremely pleased with the service and will definitely do business again with Private Reef Aquatics. Highly recommend. read more

Isaiah is a true professional and an absolute expert in everything related to aquarium setup and maintenance. We first hired him for our 85-gallon freshwater tank, and we couldn't be happier. He was involved in every step of the process--from the initial setup to ongoing maintenance--ensuring a healthy, balanced, and beautiful environment for our fish. Because of how impressed we were, we trusted Isaiah to help us expand into a saltwater aquarium--something we had no experience with at all. He handled everything seamlessly, from sourcing the tank and equipment to selecting the perfect pump, sand, rocks, corals, and even our clownfish and anemones. Isaiah truly exceeded all of our expectations. Not only did he create a stunning aquarium, but he also took the time to educate us. He explained the importance of proper lighting for corals, set up timers, and guided us on how to care for and feed both the anemones and our clownfish. His knowledge, patience, and passion for his work are unmatched. We highly recommend Isaiah to anyone looking to create and maintain a beautiful, thriving aquarium in their home--you will not be disappointed! read more
