It's exactly the type of place you want, a video room with booths, plenty of parking, dvds and toys, and quietly out of the way. It's a fairly basic setup, with a small display/sales area - an assortment of loose dice, some M:TG tourney decks, card protectors, and a display case of singles - and about a dozen tables set up for play. The first time I went, on a Sunday, it was pretty empty, but my daughter and I returned on a Saturday and they had a full house. They hold tournament play and there are periods of open play, and one of the owners (I forget their names now; my apologies) mentioned they were going to be setting up a Friday night video game thing. Everyone here seems to be great and I look forward to spending more time with these folks. Game on!

The space is lovely and welcoming. There are board games and a high chair for your little one. You don't feel rushed at all. You see a variety of different people. I loved my banana bread iced latte and turkey grilled cheese on sourdough. On a Thursday around noon, there were a couple tables occupied, so not full by any means, which was surprising given the perfect weather. This is the epitome of a gem and a place Charlotte needs to love, support, and keep around.
