Let me back up: when I first entered, she argued with me about the polish I wanted. I've get the same combo almost every time; she doesn't need to instruct me on how it will look and suggest something else. It hasn't changed in the two months since I last had it applied. *sheesh!* Back to the broken nails: I stated that I just needed tips on those two fingers. Stupidly, I looked away at something on the TV--when I looked down she had the other two fingers on that hand clipped down to my fingertips. I jerked my hand back and asked her why she did that. Because, two nails are too short. What? These two are short and the others are longer. What? I'll put tips on all of them. But, I don't want tips on all of them. They don't need them. No, they will look natural. But, they were natural. We went back and forth like that. Me telling her I already had them as long as the tips and I don't like having those things super glued to my nails. Her telling me she was going to do that. Had I been smart, I would have dropped a tenner on her station and run. Apparently, I am not smart. After making no progress against the infallible they-will-look-natural wall, I finally just told her it was too late now. Do what you want. My long nails were gone. Months of growing them out wasted. And I was disgusted with trying to get my point across. It didn't occur to me until much later that she did it because I wouldn't agree with her about the polish. Look. I'm not a Karen, but I should get to decide these things. Well, all I can do now is just not to return. Not just that! I can review them! Update** A cashier complimented my nail polish. We started discussing bad service in a nail salon. She had a similar experience at Glam Nails, too! Except, he took THREE hours and charged her $80? I don't pay that in DC! What did she have done? Acrylics and gel. Um. What?

She completely reimagined my hair, my confidence, my spark. I actually cried when I saw the final result. And watching my daughter have her very first salon experience and love every second of it? This made my nerves relax some as she suggested that I not get it, due to my hair already having enough wave to it. So perm was scratched but I desperately needed an uplift to my hair. I went with a balayage and a haircut. Let me start this with -- I have a LOT of hair, and it's decently thick. Chloe was more than accommodating by taking her time and using a ton of foils in my hair. The process took a couple hours, and when we first got back to the chair from the washing--- the toner was too light for my taste. Chloe told me we would dry it to see how light, and I just wasn't comfortable with how blonde it was. No problem.. she promptly took me back to the hair washing station and added a darker toner. The results? GORGEOUS. I walked in a dark brown with red tones and walked out as a bombshell with golden tones. Not only did she take her time, but she also gave me a how to lesson on how to get the perfect beach wave curl. Very happy

Even after reaching out again and being told the same thing I still was not able to get an appointment scheduled. I just feel that it was really rude and unprofessional, I'm not going to mention any names as I don't feel I need to, I just wanted too put this out there so that people know how unprofessional this place of business is.
