This strange shop has all kinds of things that you'd need for your house that seem like kitchy, Americana stuff, and weird imported items. Think metal horses to hang your hats on, and Route 66 signs. They have lots of strange furnishings, like a 50's style vacuum glass tube clock, or freaky looking fake cacti, lamps or things to hang on the wall. The clerk seemed helpful, but I didn't really chat with her. I just kinda pawed through their drawer pulls and other retro looking items. I guess I'm spoiled with the Americana stuff, living in Texas. They had a lot of things that would be available back home, but I can see the novelty to a Finn. The store was rather cramped with all the merchandise, with it packed to the ceiling on narrow shelves, but still thoughtfully arrayed. The hodge-podge of inventory doesn't really seem to fit a theme, but whatever theme you've got going at home, I'm sure they have something that'll fit right in. Parking seems nearly impossible, as this shop is located off a major thoroughfare. Take the tram!
