Sculptor Sufi Ahmad created this statue in 1987 of the legendary figure that the City of Mishawaka takes its name from. Cast in bronze, the sculpture now has a light patina and a few spots that could use some cleaning, but otherwise is in good condition.
The sculpture presents a seated princess garbed in a buckskin dress with arms upraised. She holds a longbow in her left hand while the right is held near her face as if reaching back to get another arrow.
The sculpture is lit at night.
There is a dedication plaque on the base honoring the parents of the donors for the statue.
