Showed two example pictures of people with mullets, and instead received a high fade around the back. When I noticed (too late), he tried to blame my miscommunication (apparently pictures aren't specific enough?), tried to fix it, and then tried to pay for it (I didn't let him). The top wasn't cut well either. Standup guy, but not a great barber. read more

Junior is amazing. Lots of attention to detail. Be sure to book him ahead of time; as he is always busy.

Last minute haircut time and I'm in the kendall area. I needn't drive west and sit in traffic for an hour. My maps app showed this fine establishment and I was pleasantly surprised with the short wait time on a Friday. I was instantly greeted by Irene at the front who had superb customer service skills. She was engaging, friendly and informative. I was seen by Elky who did a great job of listening and making sure the cut I had in mind is the cut I walked away with. Could not have been happier with a last minute haircut I need for tomorrow morning. Many thanks to a fine barbershop and outstanding staff. A well deserved review read more

Had great experience here. Have been seeing it for a while since I'm usually in the shopping center and figured I'd give it a try. Was able to get an appointment through the app, showed up, and was instantly sat down with any waiting. The lady who helped me out was amazing. I explained what I wanted and cleaned me up nice. Was in and out rather quick but never felt like the process was rushed. Will definitely be going back. read more

So I had the opportunity to visit Primos Barber shop. So I asked for a skin fade, and a shave. The barber did a good job with the fade but the shave was not a hot shave and the mustache was higher in one side then the other. When I go to pay they charge me $50 dollars. I come from New York and not even in NY I pay $50 for a fade and a shave. Last time I paid $50 dollars at a a barber shop the service was out of the world. Hair cut, hot shave, nose hairs and they even gave me the black mask. But for a skin fade only no hair from the top and a shave that is not a hot shave $50 dollars is insane. Will never go back and will not recommend at all. read more

This barber shop is unlike any of the other barber shops in the area. As soon as you walk through the doors you are greeted by a receptionist and offered a complimentary beverage. They even have an app to book your appointments in advance with any of their incredibly talented barbers. Personally I get my haircut by Lou but from what I've seen all of the other barbers in the shop are equally as skilled. One of the other things that separates this shop from the rest is that after you get your haircut they also wash and style your hair for you so you don't have any of those annoying itchy loose hairs on you while you drive home. I have about 5 barber shops within a few blocks of my house but I travel 15 minutes to primos because the experience is worth it. Other barber shops should take notes. read more

Had to get a quick cut for a special day today and Mr. Julio Molina made sure that all Covid regulations were being followed and gave me an outstanding haircut. Not only that but also made me felt clean during a time were most people only want to wash their hands. Besides the great service done by Mr. Molina, the store owner shows great care for customers that come into his shop and checks up with calls. It's not very common to see the owner be a part of the team instead of simply telling people what to do. I loved the service and highly recommend getting a haircut here! read more

Followed the reviews and ended up meeting THE best barber ever for my 3 year old son! Marilyn and the entire staff here are very welcoming and nice. Called to ask about walk-in availability and got an appointment immediately! Prices are very reasonable for all services as well. Really nice place where you don't feel uncomfortable as a Mom taking you little guy into other typical barber shops with all men. Lastly, I got a text from the owner asking about our experience. Excellent customer service. read more

Brandon is very detail oriented but still personable. He takes ownership in satisfying each customer that comes to his chair for a haircut. I had a clean fade and also went for the full service shave as well. It was so relaxing I ended up falling out because it was so relaxing. I was extremely satisfied with this business as they get it that a man wants more than just a cut and shave when you come to get your haircut. They ensure that every detail is thought out and goes towards the end goal of your satisfaction. Refreshing business model especially in today's business climate. Great job Primos!! read more

Based on the positive reviews, I decided to check for myself. I went online and easily made a reservation with Elky. I was seated as soon as I entered the business. The barbershop is very clean, and everyone was very welcoming. I was thoughtly pleased by the the entire experience. I received a very good haircut, and even had my hair washed which is rare for a barber shop. Excellent value for the price, and service was excellent = 5 star. Need to share my experience with the community. This barbershop is a breath of fresh air when it comes to a great haircut, service, time savings and comfortable atmosphere. For years I had to deal with the electric razor factories and the long waits but not here. From the simple online reservations to them being flexible with my slight travel delay the visit was well worth it. They listened carefully to my expectations and met every one of them. Great personal service and friendly conversation with one of the owners. Get a change from norm and treat yourself to a truly great experience. I will be a long time member. I was looking for a place to trim my beard and I found Primos here on yelp. I did not have an appointment and it was pretty busy, but they took me immediately which was great. It's in a prime location and the atmosphere was welcoming. Ellky did my trim, and she did a great job. She explained to me the products that she used and I purchased one of the beard leave in conditioners. Danny was very professional and even complimented my beard. He gave me a few samples and a %10 discount. I'll be back for a future trim! read more

I've been hesitant to go back in and get a haircut since the WuhanVirus began but I'm glad I did. Tatiana cut my hair and she did an amazing job, I will definitely be requesting her for all my future cuts. She wore her mask and I did too, everything is clean and sanitized. I usually walk-in due to the nature of my work but this time I used the "MyBarberApp" to make an appointment, no issues at all. I gave more than the regular tip, as this industry has been hit hard and Tatiana's superb service/talent are truly appreciated. Thank you to Primos for keeping this barbershop classy, as customer service and cleanliness have always been top notch. read more

My husband and I came to Primos without an appointment and they were able to fit him in right away. He had the opportunity to be with Alexis (I think that was her name), he was apprehensive since he hadn't had a REAL haircut since being in the military for 6 years. She took great care of him and his multiple cowlicks that can be a serious pain to maneuver. She took her time and he definitely felt like she really took care of him and his hair. He looked really great afterwards and we will definitely be back. Absolutely worth their prices for an incredible service. read more

I've been coming to Primos for a few years ever since I moved close by. I just have to say that this place is always clean, and busy with customers. I had high hope at this place BUT they messed up their reservation for customer. The previous haircut I had was 30 minutes late.. this time, I got turned down for my 2.30pm haircut for the fact that the previous haircut was about 30 mins late and ended at 3pm. By the time I showed up, the 3pm took my spot instead and I was turned down and asked to wait.. more WAIT? Sorry guys.. you keep asking your customer to wait.. I ain't coming back! BYE! read more

Came in on a Monday evening after work; needed a beard trim badly. I was starting to look like a Neanderthal. When I walked in, I knew this was a quality barbershop. Not your run-of-the-mill franchise, retailer/barbershop. This place was really clean, and welcoming. It felt like the good barber shops up north. Quickly at the front desk I was greeted and offered bottled water, cafecito, or other beverages which is unheard of in Miami. I took a water bottle. I could tell the service wasn't rehearsed, but genuine. The front desk man not only had a cool beard but he was hospitable and attentive. This is all prior to my cut. So far two thumbs up. I was showed to Tony at the back for my beard trim. This is where I was really going to tell if the barbershop had talent. Tony was very straight forward and professional about the cut. It wasn't like other barbers they will get on phone calls or start long winded conversations with other people in the shop while you're sitting on the chair. Tony did an amazing job, my beard was symmetrical, my shave did not bleed, he advised on beard products but did not oversell the stuff; overall very pleasant. I will go to Primos from now on. This place came up in a conversation with my brother (his review down below) Hans C. Thank you Primos. read more

Went there on Feb 8th based on the reviews I had read. The place is very clean and the staff was super friendly. I chose Marilyn. I was looking for a barber shop nearby that would do a good job wirh beard shaping & trimming. After reading reviews in Yelp, I found this place and drove right over with no reservation. I was warmly greeted by the owner, Danny (also a nicely bearded fellow). Asked him if they did beards, and he said, "of course. We can do anything you want." He gave me some great tips on beard grooming and maintenance, which I frankly had no idea about. This place is an upscale barber shop. The barbers/stylists also speak perfect English, so communicating was no issue. In fact, it was quite a joy. Danny set me up with Elkie (not sure how to spell her name). She was welcoming, warm and gracious and a great conversation while she worked her magic on my hair and beard. I'm hooked. I found my new barber shop. I'll sending my son and urging my dad to check them out. Incidentally, my wife REALLY loved the new sculpted look to my beard. Thanks, Elkie! read more

I've been jumping barber to barber for years. I've tried every shop in town. This barber shop is its own entity, everything is 5/5 from the service from when you walk in to you walking out. Fantastic establishment. It's a great value for the exceptional level of service Danny (owner) & the crew provide. The old school feel makes me feel comfortable but there's a new school vibe twisted in with TVs showing the UM game. Everyone is very professional and polite. I took some other yelpers advice and made an appointment with Andy for my cut. The guy is a pro and gave me one of the best haircuts I've ever had. Drinks offered on arrival is a nice touch, great espresso! The chairs recline into the washing sink for a shampoo after the cut, no need to get up and change seats. Membership was a no-brainer; $15 a year for $5 off every cut. The app is also a must for making an appointment, game changer. Thank you guys so much for creating a place where I can finally quit jumping around hunting for a good spot. read more

My father has been getting his haircut here for a while. Then it was my nephew, finally I gave in and took my 14 month old son to get his haircut with Andy. Now I understand what the hype is all about. First of all, their customer service is not only outstanding but non existent in the Miami barbershop scene (I've had my share of barbershops having quite a few younger brothers). We immediately felt welcomed and taken care of. The owner greeted us with such class and tact it was amazing. Last but not least Andy was the cherry on top. He was so great and patient with our baby. I'm in shock. Joking half the time, making conversation with my baby (that was the best part) even when my baby was behaving less than ideal Andy was a riot and kept his cool. We will definitely be coming back and telling all of our friends about this hidden gem. Also the place is impeccable and so beautifully kept. Oh and did I mention we were a party of 3 women ? Abuela and all. read more

These guys are great. The system they use to maximize the safety of their customers and employees during the covid reopen is impressive and organized. Place looked and felt spotless. Very clean place. Boyfriend got a haircut there, randomly from me nagging to get a haircut. Definitely great service. Finally got the haircut he wanted! Primos Barbershop is fantastic! My husband and now 4 year old son have been going to this location to see Elky for the past 2 years. Elky has almost become part of our family. She is nothing short of amazing. She always listens to our requests and asks us what style we want instead of assuming it's the same as usual. She always treats my son so well, she even brings him little surprises here and there when she knows we're coming. Coming to this barbershop is such a pleasure instead of a chore. They offer refreshments while we wait and they always give my son (& sometimes my husband) a lollipop at the end of the appt. Primos barebershop has been by far the best experience we've ever had at any barbershop. I will say though we will follow Elky anywhere she goes. She is AMAZING! Not very often you find a Barber who can keep a 4 year old still, give him a great haircut and then go right into giving a great beard trim & haircut to his Dad. read more
