Choosing Jacob to be our renovation project manager was the biggest mistake we could have made for…read moreour beautiful 19th century home. All started positively, he was very responsive at first and seemed enthusiastic about the project. He came to visit the place a number of times to take a look and brought with him some workers he would be subcontracting. Communication was a dicy, but frequent. He assured us that his workers are the most professional you can find in all of Montreal and that the work would be done to "perfection". It turns out he and his workers were in it for some quick cash, and their priority was to come in, do their job as quickly and carelessly as possible, get out and get paid. When we expressed our discontent with the poor work and some mistakes made (even though we had given clear direction of what we wanted) he gaslight us saying that we had never told him what we wanted, insulted us calling us too "picky" and even went so far as kicking my father out of our own home. We are now having to pay thousands of extra dollars to get another contractor to come in and fix his many mistakes. Jacob might be fine for one-off small jobs, but not to be trusted for larger projects that require vision, precision and detail work.

We had quite a long and difficult move and both guys were attentive, adaptable, supportive and careful the whole time. They went above and beyond to help make the move as smooth as possible. They even helped to move things onto the street for donation, they broke down and re-built my bed with ease and so much faster than I could have ever done it! They even were able to- last minute- remove the appliances that were in our new place before bringing ours in. Moving sucks and is super hard, but these guys will make it as easy as can be.
