As a past employee of Prime Care Learning Center, I must say that it was a wonderful learning and teaching experience. As the Head Pre-K teacher I was allowed the freedom to create awesome learning experiences for the students. We would take field trips that created memorable memories for students and parents. For starters we would go to the UniverSoul Circus and every year Disney on Ice. Ms. Chrislen Okomo would go out of her way to put together fun activities throughout the year. She would put together great opportunities to bring the community together at her yearly functions celebrating the schools anniversary. Vendors from all parts of Georgia would sign up to feature what they have to offer to the community. Everyone would enjoy the food, music, and the joy that would be in the air during those events. Ms. C. Okomo would also put together field day activities for students during different celebrations. Her passion and desire to support parents and their children is epic. I have seen the time and dedication that she has put in, on top of all of her daily responsibilities, to create and edit a school yearbook placed on a CD for the center. My two children have also attended the after school program that gave them much needed support during that time. Everyone was supportive and genuinely concerned with making sure that their homework was understood and done correctly. During the summer months, they both always enjoyed going to Six Flags, roller skating, movies, etc. Educating and teaching Bible based character is one of the main focuses at Prime Care Learning Center. People can find negative things to say about any experience, it really depends on the individuals point of view. I would encourage others to give this great organization a try, before they just take any unknown individual's point of view, and know that Ms. Okomo and those that work for Prime Care Learning Center take her class motto to heart, "I will do my best, to be my best, in everything I do." read more

This review may shock readers as it will tell more about the parents than the teachers. Unfortunately, many of the bad reviews were written by parents who refused to pay their bill and whose children were stopped because of it. The classes are not free as was indicated in their contracts. I often witnessed parents yelling at admin, walking out after being asked to make a payment. I witnessed parents walk out after threatening admin and the well-being of the center. Like clockwork immediately after followed the negative reviews. Some of the negative reviews were written by parents who brought their children there day after day, year after year. The moment things didn't go the way they expected or wanted Prime Care Learning Center became the bad guy. I'm an employee. But I'm also a parent and I love Prime Care and so does my son. read more

If I could give negative stars I would but it makes you put one. This school has been nothing but a nightmare since my children started there. Chrislen Okomo is the worse. She doesn't know how to run a school. There is no organization and she constantly lies about things that this school provides. She will give you the best presentation to make you think that there Abeka Cirriculum is the best thing smoking. She told me my child would be advanced when she went to public school and THE LIESSSSS I tell you. My child was actually behind grade level and is struggling in 3rd grade trying to make up for what they couldn't do. My child went through at least 3 - 4 teachers each school year so that tells you everything you need to know about how this school can't keep anyone. I have seen good ones come and go because Chrislen cannot do her job and treat her employees the right way. They can't keep an employee to save their lives. Their turnover rate is atrocious. Her mother (Cecilia - the owner) treats you like it's mandatory that you spend your hard earned money there and never listens to the actually concerns that parents bring forward. I withdrew my children based on the instructions from her staff and she is now trying to charge me for an additional 2 weeks of services when my children weren't there especially when I always paid my account 2 weeks in advance. She procrastinates about everything she tells you she will do and never does it. You have to constantly remind her to do her job. Not to mention, she can be rude if you allow it. My daughter stopped at the water fountain to drink one day and there was mold on it and when I informed them, the staff shook his head as if this is just one of many issues that have come about. This school is a disaster and I would not recommend anyone step foot in here unless you want to set your child up for failure. Last but not least. She has the audacity to tell me that she will not release my tax documents due to a balance that she have created in her head. Her response was "It doesn't matter who you call because we are private and they can't control what I do" I PRAY EVERYONE THAT READS THIS TAKE HEED AND KEEP DRIVING BY THAT SCHOOL. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED! 1. Abeka Cirriculum - Other places, it's probably great but here, it is beyond horrible 2. Promised all kinds of activities that never took place 3. No organization 4. Rude - Chrislen Okomo (Director), Mrs. Austin (Front Office), Celicia (Owner) 5. Field Trips - Absolute headache and never organized. Last one, parents got off bus and took kids home due tolack of organization and not running on time. 6. Programs at the school - Chrislen runs around like a chicken with her head cut off and the presentation is always half-assed 7. Have an issue - Don't worry it won't be handled unless you stay on top of it 8. Making a payment - No official method to the record keeping so make sure you keep every record because she will try to get over on you 9. Prime Care Riverdale Ga is a AWESOME Place to take your children. While they are their they are dedicated not only taking care of your Children and making sure they are in a safe Place (inside the school or outside with the public) but seeing them be successful. It is truly well worth it, and comforting to know your Kids are in a Clean and Safe environment while your have to be away.
