I went to Primark today 04/10/2025 in Southend on Sea. The staff there were very helpful. They directed me to where the items I wanted could be found and even knew if items had gone out of stock. There were staff teaching the Christmas temps how to fold clothing and even people keeping an eye out on the shop floor for anyone needing assistance or shoplifters. I would like to thank the man named Calum and another called Richard who were extremely helpful and went out of their way for me today. The new Primark in the Royals Shopping Centre, is a pleasure to shop in compared to the old one on the High Street. There is much more space and the clothes are now well laid out and you can actually see what you are buying! Which makes a world of difference, the changing rooms are clean and uncluttered and you can actually see where the queue for the till starts and finishes!! The clothes are affordable, they wash well and look good! The new location makes it convenient to get to, with the Royals carpark literally a minutes walk away The staff are polite and it is easy to find what you are looking for, its not too empty and its not too cluttered it actually makes a very good shopping experience! read more

A trip to primark is fantastic if you are buying a trolley load of clothes and/or dont mind spending most of your Saturday queueing! If you are hoping to pop in there while on your lunchbreak to grab the top you saw last week, DONT!! You will almost certainly be in there for the rest of the afternoon, if not queueing you will always find something else that you want to look at 'quickly'. Primark is a basically free-for-all, but this is what makes it so good. There is almost an evil look in your eye when you walk in there thinking what you can do to the person that picks up 'your' top. Or is that just me?!!? If you are looking for cheap clothes at a fantastic price and dont mind queueing for hours and fighting for the last pair of jeans, then Primark is for you. read more

Primark - it sells cheap clothes that are apparently in fashion. I guess that's all you need to know about the place, if you're into that sort of thing. However, it gets completely packed and can be an extremely stressful shopping experience - sometimes it doesn't seem worth it. It often seems even less worth it when you have paid an excellent four quid for a shirt, which then falls apart after a week. However, the jackets are often excellent value and can last for some time. If you want cheap clothes, give it a try, but don't expect them to last! read more

This primark has a nice layout, waaaaay better than the old location which felt like a dingey little cheapo shop. But the new primark is way better, like a mini version of the lakeside one. Love it. read more

Well you'll always find me here if I'm not home! I love the Primark shops but this one is lovely - well set out - helpful staff if you need help ( a bonus these days!) and situated in a well-used shopping centrer at the botom of Southend High Street. If you are shopping here you will be assured of a bargain if you are size 18 or below (womens) or XXL or under in mens sizes. You do find that the mens larger sizes sell fast though and sometimes the XXL's go like wildfire! The accessories for women are superb at a few ounds each where other places you'd pay £££££'s more. Certainly worth a good browse! read more

This shop sells a wide selection of fashionable items at really low prices! It is excellent value for money, and although sometimes the quality of some items is quite poor, the majority of the stuff I have bought from here has lasted for ages well worth the money! However, it is often busy and untidy due to people just putting unwanted items on the floor. Another problem is that if you lose your receipt, you can't exchange or get a refund for anything really annoying, especially if it is just something the wrong size! read more

a very large store with a wide range of value clothing for all the family. i have found the clothing to be of a poor quality though, and the staff were quite abrupt when asking for assistance. good for clothes when you have a limited budget, but you do pay for what you get really. refunds are impossible without a receipt, except on boxing day until january for some reason, and when wanting to refund or exchange, staff are agin unhelpful towards you and keep you waiting to get 'confirmation' from other staff members. read more

I always go to Primark to buy basic items, such as t-shirts and vests tops, as their prices are very good. They also have a good choice of colours and sizes, although their smaller sizes tend to go quickly. They also sell 'copies' of fashions that are in high street shops at cheaper prices. The underwear/lingerie is great value and they always have lots of choice. In general, the items I have bought from there lasts for a while and is good quality.
