In the centre of Rotherham, you will find amongst the many pounds shops, only a few larger stores as most have re-located to the nearby shopping centre, Parkgate. One of the stores you will still find in the town centre is Primark. The store is housed in the old BHS building and gives an impression of utter chaos on entering. The floor is always covered in debris, old price tickets, coat hangers, wrappings and gives the appearance of general disarray. The clothes appear to have just been thrown up in the air and wherever they have landed is where they'll stay. Queues are always longer and the staff are aloof and disinterested. Why do I go in then? I have only been in the store a handful of times to try and seek out the elusive bargains everyone else seems to find. However after one too many visits I have yet to do so. read more
