As a new member I can tell you that everyone from the front desk staff to the trainers are all super friendly. The classes are not intimidating but it definitely burns calories as well as teaching you about boxing and the different moves. My only regret is that I didn't join sooner! Recently he's been expressing interest in the martial arts. Tonight he joined a Muay Thai class that KICKED HIS A** !!! I'm really proud of him for keeping up. He isn't used to so much cardio. It's an INTENSE work out. I briefly met Sensei Gary, who I spoke with before going. Nice guy - seems proud of his class /students. They even have some cool merch! Because of COVID, I got booted out (but you could watch on ZOOM). There are family memberships that I MAY join IF the boy decides to join.

My kids have found a real connection here and enjoy learning and having fun. I love that there isn't a class limit and you do not have to book in advance (pre-covid rules) The school has gone above and beyond to provide services throughout the pandemic and worked well to maintain safety and follow the guidelines since reopening. They had their work cut out with me because I started with 0 boxing experience and also wrestled in college so I tend to lead with my face which is bad in boxing apparently. They were very patient, and most of all so technicaly strict that I picked it up fast. They definitely focus on and emphasize doing the technique right every time so you learn the right way from the beggining and do not build bad habits. If you are new and feel uneasy about starting up somewhere this is the place for you. They make it so easy to just walk in and start so do it!

CKO offers various classes from regular kickboxing to a more weights-centered session to fit everyone's fitness needs and goals. I also found it very convenient that CKO offers different classes that start as early as 6 am and as late as 8 pm, allowing me to cater my work out sessions around my regular schedule. The classes themselves are as difficult as you make them to be but you'll definitely always leave with a sweat and feeling great! The environment is friendly and encouraging as everyone is there with similar goals. The instructors have so far been fabulous and I appreciate that each of them has his/her own style, so you'll end up learning slightly different and new things from each one. Front desk people wear really unkempt clothes and are not looking like they work at the gym. There was once a big roach on a desk at the front reception and a front desk personnel would not kill it. It was crawling all over desk. So I grabbed something that was on the desk and smashed it on that big roach. The front desk personnel thanked me for being so helpful. She then said she was not going to pick it up, but instead put a paper on it so others knew it was something to avoid. They have roaches there and I've seen a few. Their air conditioning recently stopped working too!!! My review still applies to instructor named Randon! This gym is lucky to have him. Because some other instructors there don't know what they are doing. With that said, I think I may be canceling this gym. I really want better looking gym with better conditions. They charge over a 100 dollar for memberships but that is over priced.
